Prior to LSU
Competed at Salesianum High School in Delaware … a member of three state championships winning teams (2016 indoor, 2016 outdoor, 2018 outdoor) … claimed an indoor state title in the pole vault as a senior at the 2018 DIAA State Indoor Championships with a clearance of 13 feet … took 12th in the 55 meter hurdles at the 2018 DIAA Indoor State Championships with a readout of 8.71.

Son of Lynn and Charles Klous … has three siblings (Patrick, Jane, Matthew) … his brother, Patrick, is also a freshman on the LSU track and field team.
