Competed in all six races for the Tigers in his junior season … Recorded two Top 10 individual finishes … Never finished individually outside of the Top 100 in any race … Had his best performance at the McNeese Season Opener (4k) with a fourth-place finish with a time of 12:43.9 … Was LSU’s top finisher and placed fifth at the LSU Invitational (4 mile) with a time of 20:45.70 … He ran a five-mile time of 25:41 at the Joe Piane Invitational, earning him a 40th-place spot … Notched a 28th-place finish as LSU’s top finisher at the Arturo Barrios Invitational (8k/25:08.6) … Followed with a 46th-place finish at the SEC Cross Country Championship (8k), running a time of 24:07.8 where he was the Tigers’ top finisher … His final action of his junior season took place at the NCAA South Central Regional placing 88th while running a time of 34:24.3.
2017
A major contributor to the men’s team in his sophomore campaign … Notched two Top 10 finishes … Had team finishes in the top-two or better on four occasions … Notched his best finish at the New Orleans Invitational (5k) as he led the Tigers with a fifth-place individual finish, recording a time of 15:42.40 … Placed ninth at the LSU Invitational (6k) at 17:35.44 … Followed that performance up with a 22nd-place finish at the Texas A&M Invitational … Ended his sophomore season with an 88th-place finish at the NCAA South Central Regional (10k) with a time of 32:19.20.
2016
Had a solid freshman campaign as he finished in the Top 50 individually on three occasions … His best individual performance was a sixth-place place finish at the LSU Invitational where he recorded a time of 15 minutes, 28.21 seconds on the 5k course at Highland Road Park in Baton Rouge … Teamed with DC Lipani for a fifth-place team finish at the McNeese State Relays, clocking 26:26 for 8k in his collegiate debut … Followed by placing 41st at the Rice Invitational with a time of 20:01.17 on the 6k course at the Rice Intramural Fields … Placed 46th at the Texas A&M Invitational 93rd at the Crimson Classic and 84th in his debut appearance at the SEC Championships … Finished his freshman campaign with a 100th-place finish in the NCAA South Central Regional Championships, recording a 10k time of 33:22.20.
PRIOR TO LSU
A successful cross country and track and field runner throughout high school coming out of Princess Anne High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia … Finished fifth at the Virginia Class 5A State Cross Country Championship as a senior … A third-place finisher in the Virginia 3,200-meter state final in the 2016 outdoor track and field season … Conference 9-5A Champion in six events, including the 400 meters, 800 meters (3x), 1,600 meters and the 5,000 meters … Finished sixth in the 800-meter final at the VHSL Class 5A South Regional with a personal-best time of 1 minute, 58.15 seconds during the 2016 season.
