Became the 10th javelin thrower in the history of the LSU track and field program to earn All-America honors with his fourth-place finish at the 2008 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Des Moines, Iowa … His personal-best mark of 234 feet, 7 inches set at the NCAA meet in 2008 ranks No. 4 on LSU’s all-time outdoor performance list … Competed at the SEC Outdoor Championships as a freshman in 2007 and a sophomore in 2008 … Posted a career-best third-place finish in the javelin at the SEC Outdoor meet in 2008 … Also competed in the javelin at the NCAA Outdoor Championships as a true freshman in 2007.
