A catalyst in LSU’s run to the national championship at the 2008 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Des Moines, Iowa … Scored 18 individual points for the Lady Tigers at the NCAA Outdoor meet in leading the team to its first national championship since 2004 … Became the third Lady Tiger in program history to be crowned NCAA champion in the 400-meter hurdles in 2008 with her victory over defending champion Nicole Leach of UCLA, joining Schowonda Williams in 1987 and Debbie Parris in 1993 and 1994 … Clocked a seasonal-best time of 54.45 in the 400 hurdles in the national final ..
