Enjoyed a breakout senior season with the Lady Tigers in 2007 … Represented her native Grenada at the IAAF World Championships in Osaka, Japan, by running the 200 meters … Earned a 10th place finish at the World Championships after advancing to the semifinal round … Became just the fourth Lady Tiger in the program’s storied history to be crowned NCAA champion in the 100 meters at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships … Crossed the finish line in 11.20 seconds to earn the first 100-meter title in her LSU career … Is in select company as she joins Lady Tiger greats Dawn Sowell (1989), Esther Jones (1990) and D’Andre Hill (1995, 1996) as the only NCAA champions in the 100 meters in program history … Also earned individual All-America honors in the 200 meters during the outdoor season after clocking a new personal best of 22.67 to finish fourth in the event at the national meet … Now ranks No. 8 on the school’s all-time outdoor performance list in the 200 meters … Anchored the Lady Tigers’ 4×100-meter relay team to a national runner-up finish with a seasonal best time of 43.15 … Also anchored the sprint relay to the NCAA Mideast Regional crown in May … Helped lead the Lady Tigers to their first SEC Outdoor title since 1996 with runner-up finishes in both the 100 meters and 200 meters at the SEC Outdoor Championships on May 13 … Also earned runner-up finishes in the 100-meter dash at the Penn Relays (11.43) and NCAA Mideast Regional Championships (11.35) … Ran the leadoff leg on the foursome that won the “Championship of America” title in the 4×100-meter relay at the 113th Penn Relays in April … Earned her first career individual All-America honor at the NCAA Indoor Championships in March where she finished eighth in the 60-meter dash … Clocked a new personal best in the event of 7.29 during the preliminary round at the NCAA meet to move her into a tie for seventh on LSU’s all-time indoor list … Just missed earning indoor All-America honors in the 200 meters as she finished 10th at the national meet with a new indoor personal best time of 23.24 in the prelims … Time in the 200 meters ranks her in a tie for ninth place on the school’s all-time indoor performance list … Guided the Lady Tigers to national runner-up finishes at both the NCAA Indoor and Outdoor Championships with her performance … Followed the collegiate season by winning a bronze medal in the 200-meter dash at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil … Finished fifth in the 100 meters at the Pan Am Games while recording a new personal best time of 11.18 in the first round of qualifying on July 23 … Was named Louisiana Track Athlete of the Year by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association for her outstanding performance in 2007.

Earned one All-America honor in her first season competing with the Lady Tigers as she ran the lead leg of the 4×100-meter relay team that took second place at the NCAA Outdoor Championships with a scorching time of 42.94, the seventh-fastest time in school history … Also ran the lead leg on the 4×100 team that captured the NCAA Mideast Regional Championship with a time of 43.68 … Was an NCAA Championship participant in the 100 meters as an individual, finishing the national meet in 18th place after clocking a 11.70 in the semifinal heat … Qualified for the NCAA Championships in the event by finishing fifth at the NCAA Mideast Regional with a time of 11.71 … Earned a pair of second-place finishes in the 100 meters at both the LSU Tiger Relays (11.65) and Tiger Classic (11.48) … Clocked a personal-best time of 23.44 in the 200 meters during the outdoor season to finish in third place at the LSU Alumni Gold on April 22 … Finished second in the event at the Tiger Classic with a time of 23.54 … Competed primarily in the 60 meters and 200 meters during the indoor season … Clocked a pair of personal-bests in the 60 meters at the New Balance Invitational with matching times of 7.50 in the meet’s preliminary and final heats.

Spent two seasons at Central Arizona Junior College … Finished third in the 100 meters and fourth in the 200 meters at the 2005 NJCAA Championships … Finished second to current teammate Kelly Baptiste in the 100 meters at the 2005 Carifta Games … Comes to LSU having posted personal best times of 11.35 in the 100 meters and 23.53 in the 200 meters.
