Was the Lady Tigers’ top javelin thrower during the 2007 campaign … Participated in the event at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships for the first time in her career … Placed 23rd at the national meet … Represented the Lady Tigers at the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships for the second time in her career where she finished 12th … Received an at-large berth into the NCAA meet after recording a new personal best throw of 166-4 at the Sun Angel Classic on April 14 … Mark ranks No. 4 on the school’s all-time outdoor performance list … Took second place in the event at both the Sun Angel Classic and the LSU Tiger Classic (146-9) … Earned a third-place finish in the outdoor season opener at the LSU Tiger Relays with a  regional qualifying throw of 150-9 … During the indoor season, competed in the weight throw for the first time in her career … Earned a fourth-place finish at the Purple Tiger Classic with a personal best mark of 50-9 ¼ … Finished second in the event at the LSU NCAA Indoor Qualifier (47-10) … Also competed at the Lobo Invitational, the Bayou Bengal Invitational and the New Balance Collegiate Invitational during the indoor season … Proved to be a standout in the classroom as she was named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll following the season.

2005
Turned in a successful freshman campaign, earning All-SEC honors in the javelin (152-7) with a second-place finish at the outdoor conference meet … Also qualified to the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships in the event and placed ninth overall with a throw of 146-10 … Opened the season with a personal best throw of 153-8 at the Tiger Relays … Distance ranks fifth on the Lady Tigers’ all-time performance list … Posted two wins in the javelin, first at the Bulldog Invitational (131-2) and then at the Sun Angel Classic (140-4) … Was named to the the SEC Academic Honor Roll in 2005.

HIGH SCHOOL
