Had an impressive indoor season which saw him help the Tigers to a victory in the mile relay at the SEC Championships where he ran the third leg … Helped the Tigers qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships in the event … Posted the second best 200-meter time by a Tiger during the indoor season, a 21.77 at the SEC Championships … Struggled with injuries during the outdoor season, but managed to come up with a season-best time of 21.79w in the 200-meter dash at the SEC Championships in the prelims … Top quarter mile time was a modest 49.00 at the USTCA National Championships in Austin, Texas … Helped the Tigers clock a 3:06.16 in the mile relay to win the title at the U.S. Collegiate Series in Baton Rouge.

Freshman season (1999)
Joined the Tigers at midterm and adjusted quickly to the first indoor track experience of career … Ran a season-best time of 21.96 in the preliminary round of the 200 at the SEC Indoor Championships in Gainesville, Fla., winning his heat but failing to advance to the final … Finished fifth in his first indoor 200 ever, running a time of 22.73 at the LSU Seven-Team Invitational … During the outdoor season his best 200 time came at the UTEP Invitational, a 21.64 that placed him ninth … Ran the third leg of the 4×100 meter relay team that finished fourth at the SEC Outdoor Championships in Athens, Ga., running a time of 39.69 that nearly got them into the NCAA meet.
