Started the season off with a win in the 200-Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:59.98 against UCONN and Navy … Claimed the silver against Florida in the 200-Yard Backstroke with a time of 2:00.79 … Finished second in the 200-Yard Backstroke against Kentucky with a time of 2:00.80 … Won the 200-Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:59.20 against Tulane and Loyola … Finished in fourth place at the Art Adamson Invitational with a time of 1:56.15 in the 200-Yard Backstroke … Touched the wall in 1:59.34 for a second place finish in the 200-Yard Backstroke against Texas A&M … Second place finish in the 200-Yard Backstroke against Houston and Rice with a time of 1:58.45.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2017-18)
Started her collegiate career with a victory in the 200-yard backstroke against Loyola and Tulane … Touched the wall eighth overall in both the 200-yard butterfly and 200 back … Set a personal-best in the 200-yard butterfly … Took fourth in the 400 individual medley at SMU with a personal-best time … Set another new personal-best in the 100 back at the Art Adamson Invitational, finishing 14th overall … Reached the ‘B’ Final of the 200 back, placing 14th overall … Claimed fourth overall in the 200 back at Georgia … Won silver in the 200 back in the last home meet of the season at Texas A&M … Victorious in the 200 back in a quad meet with Houston, Rice, and Tulane … Capped off the season by reaching the B final and claiming 15th overall at the SEC Championships, setting a new personal-best and climbing to third on the LSU all-time list in the process … Named to First Year SEC Academic Honor Roll.
