Set best times in all three events at SEC Championships … Finished fourth in the 100 back for the Tigers against Texas A&M … Swam to third in the 100 back and sixth in the 100 free against Missouri … Touched the wall third overall in the 100 back against Kentucky and Virginia Tech … Finished third in the ‘D’ final of the 100 back at the Texas A&M Invite … Against SMU, finished fourth in the 100 back and sixth in the 100 free … Touched fourth in the 100 back against Wyoming … Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll … Earned his second varsity letter.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2014-15)
Qualified for SEC Championships in his first season … Finished sixth in the bonus final of the 100 back and third in the ‘D’ final of the 200 back at the Texas A&M Invite … Touched the wall seventh in the 50 and 100 free in his first collegiate dual meet against Florida … Scored points for LSU in the 100 back and 100 free in the win over Incarnate Word … Finished sixth in the 100 back against Tennessee … Touched the wall sixth in the backstroke events during LSU’s win over SMU … Earned his first varsity letter.
PRIOR TO LSU
A 2013 and 2014 Scholastic All-American … The 2013 Arizona Division I State Champion in the 100 Back (51.04) … A part of the 200-medley relay team that broke the state record with a time of 1:32.01 … Helped lead his team to a second place finish at state … Finished 10th in the 100 free, fourth in the 100 back, and ninth in the 50 free at the 2014 Speedo Champions Series … Coached by Nate Moore and was a four-year letterman at Chaparral High School.
