FRESHMAN YEAR (2013-14)
An impressive freshman freestyler where he set career highs in all three events he participated in at the SEC Championships… At the Texas A&M invite, finished 16th in the “B” final of the 50 freestyle… Came in 22nd in the 100 freestyle with a season’s best time of 45.93… Finished fifth against SMU in the 50 free (21.61)… Earned his first varsity letter.
PRIOR TO LSU
Swam one season with the Dayton Raiders… Was second in the 100 freestyle and third in the 50 freestyle at the 2013 state championships… Top sprinter for Granite Bay High School’s 2012 Sac-Joaquin Section Champion swim team in California..
PERSONAL
Born on Aug. 25, 1995, in Wichita Falls, Texas… Parents are LaMills Garrett and Katherine Reeves… Has three younger siblings- Jacob, Alon and Jackson… Coached by John Sherman (Granite Bay HS) and John Hooten (Johnson Ranch)…Plans to major in marketing.
