Hannah Martin Season 2013-14

JUNIOR SEASON (2015-16)
Against Houston, Rice and Tulane, finished ninth overall in the 200 back and 14th in the 100 back … Swam in LSU’s 200-medley relay team that finished sixth in the dual meet against Texas A&M … Touched the wall eighth in the 200 back against Missouri … touched the wall seventh in the 200 back against Tulane … Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll … Earned her first varsity letter.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2014-15)
Continued to develop in her sophomore campaign … Set career-best times in the backstroke events during LSU’s Quad meet against Houston, Rice and Tulane … Finished fifth in the ‘D’ final of the 200 back at the Texas A&M Invite … Touched the wall fourth in the 100 and 200 back against Incarnate Word … Finished fifth in the 200 back and eighth in the 100 back in LSU’s victories over Houston, Rice and Tulane.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2013-14)
Primarily competed in the backstroke events … Competed in all but two dual meets for the Lady Tigers … Swam career lows in the backstroke events at the Texas A&M Invitational and in a dual meet against the Aggies … Finished third in the ‘D’ final of the 200 back (2:05.22) at the midseason meet … Swam a career low 59.36 in the 100 backstroke against A&M … Also registered low times of 56.42 in the 100 freestyle and 1:59.55 in the 200 freestyle … Named to the SEC First Year Honor Roll.

PRIOR TO LSU
Holds her school’s 100 backstroke and 500 free records … Named most valuable swimmer her junior year … Helped lead her school to state championships all four years of high school … An honor roll member and held a 4.0 GPA throughout high school … Coached by Virginia Richards.

PERSONAL
Born on Sept. 8, 1994 … Parents are Clay and Nancy Martin … Has one sister, Haley … Ran cross-country in high school and was a part of four state championship teams … Majoring in kinesiology.
