JUNIOR SEASON (2015-16)
Reached SEC Championships in his final season as an LSU swimmer … Finished 47th in the 50 free and 51st in the 100 and 200 free … Took eighth in the 200 free in his final dual meet as a Tiger … Against Missouri, touched the wall seventh in the 200 free … Finished 15th overall in the 200 free against Kentucky and Virginia Tech … Set personal best times in the 100 free and 200 free at midseason … Reached the ‘C’ final of both events at the Texas A&M Invite … Touched the wall seventh in the 200 free in the victory over SMU … Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll … Earned his third varsity letter.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2014-15)
Competed at SEC Championships for the first time and set a personal best time in the 50 free … Finished 42nd overall in the 50 free with his time of 20.92 at SEC’s … Finished fifth in the ‘D’ final of the 200 free at the Texas A&M Invite … Finished ninth in the 100 free (47.26) and was a part of the 400 free relay team that finished sixth against Alabama and Auburn … Touched the wall seventh in the 200 free against Florida … Finished second in the 100 free in LSU’s win over Incarnate Word … Added a fifth place finish in the 100 and 200 free in the Tigers’ win over SMU … Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll … Earned his second varsity letter.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2013-14)
Owns the fifth-fastest 200 and 500 freestyle times on the team … Contributed in the men’s win over Texas A&M with a third place finish in the 200 freestyle … Finished fifth in the 200 freestyle in the Tiger’s win over SMU … Reached the ‘D’ final of the 200 freestyle at the midseason meet and finished with a time of 1:44.46 … Swam a time of 48.20 in the ‘D’ final of the 100 freestyle at midseason … Finished sixth in the 200 freestyle in the dual meet against Georgia … Earned his first varsity letter.
PRIOR TO LSU
A homegrown product who has only been a part of the sport for two years … Made the state championship his junior year and was a part of the team that won state his senior year … A member of the Academic All-State team … Coached by Doug Logsdan.
PERSONAL
Born on June 12, 1994 … Parents are Brian and Traci Bergeron … Has five siblings – Brant, Tanner, Jaime, Lacie and Megan … Graduated in May 2016 with a degree in marketing.
