FRESHMAN SEASON (2010-11)
Proved to be the Tigers’ top freshman performer and one of the top newcomers in the conference … A member of the SEC All-Freshmen Team who was twice named SEC Diver of the Week … Also led the squad in two of three diving events … Recorded fifth in the three-meter competition at SEC’s with a career high of 380.70, fourth in school history … Also delivered 11th in the platform (291.00) and placed 17th in the one-meter (279.25) … Posted an eighth-place finish in the platform at the NCAA Zone ‘D’ Regional with a combined score of 571.00 … Tallied a two-round total of 618.50 to claim 10th in the one-meter and finished 12th in the three-meter (652.35) … Earned SEC Diver of the Week honors following his performance at the Cougar Classic Invitational where he won the platform with a program top-five score of 331.40 and dove to victory in the three-meter (369.10) … Emerged victorious in the three-meter versus nationally-ranked Florida and took runner-up honors in the one-meter en route to his first career SEC Diver of the Week accolade … Captured fourth in both the three-meter and platform in at the LSU Diving Invite … Notched seventh in the platform at the Tennessee Diving Invite (295.25) … Topped the field in the one-meter and secured second in the three-meter in a home win over Incarnate Word … Collected runner-up honors in the one-meter in a road victory over Alabama … Named the recipient of the Most Outstanding Newcomer Award at the programs’ annual Awards Banquet … Earned his first varsity letter.
PRIOR TO LSU
Emerged as one of the elite diving prospects from the prep level in the country … Won the national championship in the three-meter at the 2010 USA Diving Spring Junior West Championships with a 10-dive score of 542.35 … Also captured third-place in the one-meter at that meet (432.35) … Reached the finals of the one-meter at the 2010 Speedo Junior National Championships … Also a Zone champion and Junior Olympic finalist … Coached by Joe Lyons.
