Contributed in backstroke and individual medley events … Competed in eight dual meets, Houston’s Cougar Classic Invitational and SEC Championships … Finished 20th in the 200 back at SEC’s (1:49.00), 24th in the 100 back (50.71) and 35th in the 200 I.M. (1:54.31) … Took fifth in the 200 back at the Cougar Classic and 11th in the 100 back … Shattered a pool record at UNO with a victorious time of 1:51.15 in the 200 back … Swam to a third-place finish in the 200 back at nationally-ranked Florida.
PRIOR TO LSU
A talented backstroker who captured the state title in the 100 back in 2009 and led off the state championship 200 medley relay squad … Also a member of a state championship 400 medley relay team … Broke the Kentucky state record in the 200 back … Boasts top times of 50.10 and 1:48.23 in the 100 and 200 back, respectively … Also showed promise in I.M. events … Coached by Mike O’Toole and Mike DeBoor.
