Departs LSU as one of the top-10 100 backstrokers in program history … Set her career low and LSU’s seventh best all-time mark in the 100 back (55.13) at the Phil Hansel midseason invitational … Cranked out her career low in the 200 back (2:01.45) at the SEC Championships … Captured the consolation final of the 100 back at the midseason meet … Swam to a third place finish in the 100 free (54.97) in a victory over Vanderbilt … Led off the first place 200 medley relay (1:43.68) and finished third in the 100 back (58.94) in a dual victory over Kentucky … Ended her 100 back run in third place with a time of 58.45 in a dual victory over Tulane … Placed fifth in the 50 free and the 100 back in a dual victory over Alabama … Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll … Earned her fourth varsity letter.
JUNIOR SEASON (2011-12)
Added depth to the backstroke and freestyle events in her third season with the Tigers … Competed in every dual meet, the Tennessee Invitational and the SEC Championships … Posted a 24th place finish in the 100 back with a season low 56.48 and a 25th place finish in the 200 back with a season low 2:02.96 at the conference meet … Registered a season best 100 free mark of 52.72 at SEC’s … Posted a 50 free time of 26.29 in a time trial at SEC’s … Cranked out a sixth place performance in the 100 back (59.03) in a quad meet against Houston, Rice and Tulane … Solidified a spot in the 100 back ‘B’ final at the Tennessee Invitational with a mark of 56.68 … Took third in the 100 back in a victory over Alabama … Lead off the first place 200 medley relay and grabbed second in the 100 back against Tulane … Earned her third varsity letter.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2010-11)
Backstroke and freestyle contributor who improved her career bests in two events … Also ranked second on the team in the 100 back … Competed in every dual meet, Cougar Classic Invitational and SEC Championships … Raced to 20th in the 100 back at SEC’s with a career best of 55.42 … Also finished 29th in the 200 back with a season best of 2:01.95 and 42nd in the 100 free (52.97) … Posted a career-best of 52.00 in the 100 free, leading off the 400 free relay at the Cougar Classic … Also swam to third in the 100 back and sixth in the 200 back at that event … Emerged victorious in the 200 back in a road victory over Tulane … Swam to runner-up honors in the 100 back and third-place in the 50 free in a home win over Incarnate Word … Tied for third in the 100 back against nationally-ranked Auburn and Notre Dame to open the season … Registered third in the 100 back in a road win over Alabama … Earned her second varsity letter.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2009-10)
A solid contributor in the backstroke races in her first season … Ranked third on the team in the 100 back … Competed in nine dual meets, Houston’s Cougar Classic Fall Invitational and SEC Championships … Enjoyed her best meet at SEC’s, recording season bests in the backstroke races and 100 free … Barely missed the consolation final of the 100 back, swimming to a 17th-place finish with an NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 55.51 … That mark is sixth in school history … Registered a season best of 2:01.86 in the 200 back to take 28th and posted a time of 53.13 in the 100 free … Finished 12th in the 100 back at the Cougar Classic … Claimed a runner-up finish in the 100 back in a win over Tulane … Notched third in the 200 back at Florida State and third in the 100 free at UNO … Earned her first varsity letter.
PRIOR TO LSU
Outstanding high school backstroker who comes in with a top time of 54.98 in the 100 back … A member of two southern California championship relay teams in 2008-09 … Also a four-time All-American, six-time junior national qualifier and multiple junior Olympic champion … Boasts top times of 51.87 and 2:02.07 in the 100 freestyle and 200 back, respectively … Coached by Steve Neale.
