SENIOR SEASON (2011-12)
Wrapped up the end of her career by qualifying for her third NCAA Championships and fourth SEC Championships … Recognized by the conference for her academic achievements in all four years of competition… Competed in five dual meets, the Tennessee Invitational, the SEC Championships and the NCAA Championships … Leaves LSU as the 200 free relay record holder (1:28.98) … Owns the third best 50 free (22.55), third best 200 back (1:57.52), seventh best 100 free (49.79) and the seventh best 100 back (55.43) … Registered a 11th place finish in the 50 free (22.81) and a 13th place finish in the 100 back (55.77) at SEC’s … Swam the final legs of the 4th place 200 free relay and the 6th place 200 medley relay at the conference meet … At the NCAA Championships, competed in the 200 free relay, 400 relay and 50 free … Nabbed first place in the 400 free relay, second place in the 50 free, ninth in the 100 free (personal best 49.79) and 10th in the 100 back at the Tennessee Invitational … Posted third place finishes in the 500 free and 100 free against Florida State and second place in the 50 free against Florida … Captured the 50 free, 200 medley relay and 400 free relay against Alabama … Registered a first place finish in the 50 free against Texas A&M … Swept the sprint events against Tulane … Received her fourth varsity letter.
JUNIOR SEASON (2010-11)
Enjoyed another fantastic season, culminating in All-SEC honors and two more honorable mention All-America accolades … Also dropped time in two of her three best events … Helped the 200 freestyle and 200 medley relays earn 10th-place and honorable mention All-America honors at the NCAA Championships … Raced to a personal best and program top-10 time of 50.00 in the 100 free to finish 52nd at NCAA’s … Also placed 58th in the 50 free … Anchored the Lady Tigers’ silver-medal 200 medley relay at the SEC Championships (1:36.91) with a 21.99 freestyle split … Qualified for the SEC championship final of the 50 free with a personal best of 22.55 in a swim-off victory, third in program history, before taking eighth in the final (22.81) … Swam the anchor leg on the team’s bronze-medal and school record-breaking 200 free relay (1:28.98) and also registered 17th and 25th in the 100 free (50.06) and 100 backstroke (55.80), respectively … Part of a 1-2-3 LSU finish in the 50 free at the Cougar Classic Invitational (23.16) and took fourth in both the 100 free and 100 back … Won the 100 backstroke in a home victory over Incarnate Word … Secured runner-up honors in the 100 free at the Florida International Invite … Recorded second in the 50 free in a road victory over Tulane and at home against Houston, Tulane and Rice … Notched third-place in the sprint freestyle races in wins over both Florida State and Alabama … Received her third varsity letter.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2009-10)
Emerged as one of four swimmers to earn All-America recognition during the season … Competed in every dual meet, Houston’s Cougar Classic Fall Invitational, and the SEC and NCAA Championships … Picked up the first two honorable mention All-America accolades of her career as a member of the Lady Tigers’ 200 freestyle and 200 medley relays … Swam the third leg on the squad’s 200 free relay, which placed 12th overall (1:30.47) … Anchored the women’s 200 medley relay, which also finished 12th (1:39.24) … Also competed individually in the 100 free, posting a mark of 51.01, and was a part of the women’s 400 free relay squad … Recorded a pair of personal bests in the 50 and 100 free at SEC’s … Registered 13th in the 100 free with the eighth-fastest time in program history, 50.07 … Placed 17th in the 50 free after touching the wall in 23.07 in a swim-off, which is also eighth-best in program history … Also swam a season best of 55.90 in the 100 back to take 20th … Earned eighth in both the 50 free and 200 back at the Cougar Classic … Also finished 11th in the 100 back at that competition … Tallied a victory in the 100 back against Tulane and a runner-up finish in the 50 free at Alabama … Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll … Received her second varsity letter.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2008-09)
Led the Lady Tigers in the 200 backstroke in her first season with team, breaking the school record … Also ranked third on the team in the 100 backstroke … Competed in 10 dual meets, Texas A&M’s Art Adamson Invitational and the SEC Championships … Placed 23rd in the 200 back at SEC’s with a mark of 2:01.91 and 25th in the 100 back with a time of 56.05 … Also finished 24th in the 50 freestyle at the conference meet with the ninth-fastest mark all-time at LSU, 23.29 … Emerged as one of the Lady Tigers’ top swimmers at the Art Adamson Invitational, breaking the school mark in the 200 back … Captured fifth in the finals of that race with a program-record time of 1:57.52 … Posted a sixth-place finish in the 100 back with a lifetime best of 55.43 … Part of a 1-2 LSU finish in the 100 back (56.31) in a win over Florida State … Also secured runner-up honors in the 100 free at that meet … Recorded a second-place finish in the 100 back at the LSU Invitational … Swam to a third-place finish in the 200 back at the same competition … Notched third-place in both back events in a win over Kentucky … One of two freshmen to be named to the SEC Freshmen Academic Honor Roll … Earned her first varsity letter.
