CAREER (2007-11)
Distance freestyle and individual medley swimmer who concluded his career with top-10 program times in the 1000 and 1650 free and 400 IM … Earned top-16 finishes in the mile race at SEC’s in three of four seasons … Led the team in the 1000 and 1650 free as a sophomore and held the team’s fastest time in the 1000 free as a freshman.

SENIOR SEASON (2010-11)
Held the team’s second-best times in the 500, 1000 and 1650 freestyle … Competed in every dual meet, Cougar Classic Invitational and SEC Championships … Registered 15th in the mile race at SEC’s (15:40.25), 21st in the 400 IM (3:56.33) and 26th in the 500 free (4:31.62) … Won the 400 IM at the Cougar Classic (3:56.88) and took runner-up honors in the 500 free with a season-best 4:30.91 … Swept the 500 and 1000 free at the Florida International Invite … Captured first-place in the 400 IM and 200 butterfly on Senior Day versus Incarnate Word … Claimed second in the 1000 free and third in the 500 free in a win over Alabama … Earned his fourth varsity letter.

JUNIOR SEASON (2009-10)
One of the Tigers’ top distance-freestyle and individual medley swimmers … Competed in every dual meet, Houston’s Cougar Classic Invitational and SEC Championships … Swam a pair of ‘B’ cuts and season bests at SEC’s … Earned 12th in the mile race with a clocking of 15:32.78 … Barely missed advancing in the 400 I.M., placing 17th with an NCAA provisional mark of 3:56.09 … Also finished 30th in the 500 free with a career best of 4:30.68 … Proved to be one of LSU’s best performers at the Cougar Classic with a victory and five top-eight finishes … Won the 400 I.M., took fourth in the 500 and 1650 free and registered sixth in the 200 fly and 200 I.M. at that competition … Delivered runner-up finishes in the 1000 free versus nationally-ranked foes Tennessee and Auburn … Also claimed second in the 500 free against the Tigers … Notched second in the 1000 free in victories at UNO and Florida Atlantic … Recorded runner-up honors in the 400 I.M. at Texas A&M … Received his third varsity letter.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2008-09)
Proved to be the Tigers’ top distance performer … Swam the squad’s fastest times in the 1000 and 1650 freestyle … Competed in every dual meet, Texas A&M’s Art Adamson Invitational and the SEC Championships … Posted career-best times in his four best events … Placed 14th overall in the 1650 freestyle at SEC’s with a mark of 15:24.94 … Also finished 18th in the 400 I.M. with a career best of 3:55.53 and 22nd in the 500 free (4:30.80) at the conference meet … Swam to a ninth-place finish in the mile race at the Art Adamson Invitational with a career-best and NCAA ‘B’ cut qualifying time of 15.22.33 … That time was the second-fastest in school history … Took 11th in the 400 I.M. (3:59.78) at the same competition … Swept the distance freestyle races in a key road victory over Texas A&M … Secured first in the 1000 free in a victory over No. 24 Kentucky … Registered victories in the 1000 free and 400 I.M. against Delta State … Also topped the field in the 1000 free versus Florida Atlantic … Earned his second varsity letter.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2007-08)
Emerged as one of the top distance swimmers on the team in his first season … Competed in every dual meet, the Georgia Tech Invitational and the SEC Championships … Clocked season-best times in the 500 free (4:33.72) and the 1650 free (15:37.68) at SEC’s … Tallied a robust 44 points for the squad in three individual events at the Georgia Tech Invitational … Notched first-place in the 1000 free against Alabama with the third-fastest time in school history (9:19.31) … Captured titles in both the 500 free and 1000 free in a near upset of the second-ranked Stanford Cardinal … Claimed victories in both the 500 and 1000 free in a dual-meet victory over No. 22 Notre Dame … Touched the wall first in the 1000 free versus South Carolina … Recorded runner-up finishes in rare appearances in the 200 backstroke and 200 butterfly events against Delta State … Also took runner-up honors in six other races throughout the year … Earned his first varsity letter.

PRIOR TO LSU
One of the top distance freestyle swimmers from Mexico … Brings in an impressive list of top times, recording marks of 4:29.65 in the 500 free and 15:16.67 in the 1650 free … His time in the mile would have registered as an NCAA provisional cut in 2006-07.
