SENIOR SEASON (2010-11)
Butterfly and freestyle contributor who recorded a personal best in the 200 fly … Competed in every dual meet and Cougar Classic Invitational … Earned fourth in the 200 fly at the Cougar Classic and seventh in both the 100 fly and 200 free … Delivered the victory in the 200 fly at Texas A&M with a personal best of 1:50.41 … Also swam a dual-meet season best of 50.57 in the 100 fly versus the Aggies to finish fourth … Raced to third-place in the both the 200 free and 100 fly at the Florida International Invite … Also recorded third in the 200 fly on Senior Day against Incarnate Word … Received his third varsity letter.
JUNIOR SEASON (2009-10)
Raced in butterfly and freestyle events … Competed in five dual meets and Houston’s Cougar Classic Fall Invitational … Swept the butterfly events in a home win against UNO with season bests of 50.65 in the 100 fly and 1:50.71 in the 200 fly … Won the consolation final of the 200 fly at the Cougar Classic … Finished fourth in the 100 fly at UNO … Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll … Earned his second varsity letter.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2008-09)
Contributed in the butterfly, freestyle and backstroke races … Competed in every dual meet and Texas A&M’s Art Adamson Invitational … Placed 13th in the 200 butterfly at the Art Adamson Invitational with a time of 1:51.39 … Also took 24th in the 100 fly (51.73) … Enjoyed a fine showing at the LSU Invitational versus UNO, posting new career bests in three events … Swam to top times of 1:41.41 in the 200 free, 1:50.82 in the 200 fly and 50.40 in the 100 fly at that competition … Finished fourth in both the 200 free and 100 backstroke in a win over Delta State … Earned his first varsity letter.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2007-08)
Added quality depth in the butterfly and freestyle events … Competed in seven dual meets, the Georgia Tech Invitational, and SEC Championships … Swam season-best times in the 100 and 200 butterfly at SEC’s with marks of 51.72 and 1:54.14, respectively… Finished third in the 1000 free versus Delta State … Recorded top-five finishes in the 200 fly and 500 free against South Carolina.
PRIOR TO LSU
A five-time All-American and four-year letterwinner at Plano High School … Expected to contribute in butterfly events … Named to the All-state and All-area teams … Member of three district champion squads and served as a team captain … Also participated in middle distance freestyle events … Coached by Craig Harris.
