CAREER (2007-11)
Versatile talent who concluded his career as a school record-holder in the 800 free relay and ranked in the program’s top 10 in seven different events … Holds the second-fastest LSU mark in the 400 IM and top-five times in the 200, 500 and 1000 free and 200 IM … Scored for the Tigers in the 400 IM at SEC’s in three of four seasons … Also a standout in the community who represented the squad on the SEC Community Service Team as both a junior and senior and served as a team co-captain as a senior.

SENIOR SEASON (2010-11)
Tigers’ top swimmer in the individual medley races who also played a role in a number of other events … Recorded personal bests in both IM events and the 200 free … Posted an 11th-place finish in the 400 IM at SEC’s with the second-fastest time in program annals, 3:49.40 … Delivered a program top-10 time of 1:37.18 in the 200 free on the lead-off leg of the Tigers’ 800 free relay … Also swam to 17th in the 200 breast (2:02.24) and 21st in the 200 IM (1:49.52) at SEC’s … Emerged victorious in the 200 IM at the Cougar Classic Invitational with a program top-five mark of 1:49.20 and took second in the 400 IM … Won the 200 breast and 200 IM in a road victory at Alabama … Claimed first-place in the 200 IM at Texas A&M … Reached the wall first in the 400 IM and 200 breast in a home win over Florida State … Posted a win in the 200 IM at the Florida International Invite … Earned a spot on the SEC Community Service Team for the second consecutive season after demonstrating excellent work in the local community … Served as one of the team’s co-captains along with James Meyers … Earned his fourth varsity letter.

LSU’s best swimmer in the individual medley events and 200 breaststroke … Competed in every dual meet, Houston’s Cougar Classic Fall Invitational and SEC Championships … Recorded top-16 finishes in a pair of events at SEC’s … Captured 10th in the 400 I.M. with the second-fastest time in school history, 3:50.44 … Delivered 15th in the 200 breast with another LSU top-10 mark, 2:00.85 … Also finished 19th in the 200 I.M. with the fifth-best time in program annals, 1:49.57 … Earned runner-up honors in the 200 breast and 400 I.M. at the Cougar Classic … Also took third in the 200 free and sixth in the 500 free … Won the 200 breast and claimed second in the 200 I.M. against nationally-ranked Florida … Emerged victorious in the 200 breast and 200 I.M. at Alabama and took first-place in the 200 I.M. at Florida State … Seized first-place in the 400 I.M. versus Texas A&M and finished second in the 200 freestyle and 200 breast … Served as the team representative on LSU’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and earned a spot on the SEC’s Community Service Team for his outstanding contributions to the Baton Rouge community … Recipient of the squad’s “Stripes Award” at the programs’ annual banquet, which is given to a pair of athletes who inspired team members with their leadership in the pool, weight room, classroom and community … Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll … Lettered for the third time.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2008-09)
LSU’s top 500-yard freestyle swimmer who also provided a spark on relays and in a number of individual races … Competed in every dual meet, Texas A&M’s Art Adamson Invitational and SEC Championships … Played a role on LSU’s record-breaking 800 freestyle relay squad at SEC’s, which placed sixth overall (6:28.83) … Also tallied points for the Tigers with top-16 finishes in two of his three events at the conference meet … Secured 13th in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:01.35 … Posted a career-best mark of 2:00.89 in the prelims of that race … Placed 14th in the 400 I.M. with a time of 3:53.64 … His prelim mark of 3:52.05 is fourth in program annals … Finished 18th in the 500 free as well with a season-best of 4:27.31 … Emerged as one of the Tigers’ top performers at the Art Adamson Invitational … Captured fourth in the 400 I.M. with a time of 3:52.24 … Won the consolation final of the 200 breast … Swam the anchor leg of the men’s runner-up 800 freestyle relay team, which shattered a then-school-record (6:30.66) … Also took 12th in the 200 free and recorded a personal best of 1:39.26 in the prelims in College Station, Texas … Registered a pair of victories in the 200 and 500 free against Florida Atlantic … Topped the field in the 200 free in a win over Alabama … Spearheaded a 1-2-3 LSU finish with a win in the 500 free in a victory over No. 24 Kentucky … Came through with three runner-up finishes at Texas A&M to preserve the road victory … Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll … Earned his second varsity letter.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2007-08)
Proved to be one of the team’s top distance swimmers after only one season … Competed in every dual meet, the Georgia Tech Invitational and SEC Championships … Enjoyed a fine meet at SEC’s, narrowly missing top-16 finishes in the 500 and 1650 free … Also anchored the Tigers’ seventh-place finish in the 800 free relay race (6:35.95) … Notched a massive 47 points in individual events at the Georgia Tech Invitational … Secured third in the 500 free at that meet with an NCAA ‘B’ cut time of 4:26.74 … Spearheaded the winning 800 freestyle relay team at the same competition … Recorded a career-best clocking in the 1000 free (9:20.36) to capture the title versus No. 18 Texas A&M … Also won the 500 free against the Aggies … Swam the 500 free in 4:34.98 to take first against Florida State … Took home first-place and runner-up honors on the road at South Carolina in the 500 free and 1000 free, respectively … Tallied second-place finishes in the 500 and 1000 free against both No. 2 Stanford and No. 22 Notre Dame … Received his first varsity letter.

PRIOR TO LSU
A five-time All-American in four seasons at Ralph Poteet High School … Named Texas Class 4A Swimmer of the Year as a senior and was a gold medalist in middle distance events … Brings in top times of 1:41.18 and 4:29.91 in the 200 free and 500 free, respectively … Club swimmer with teammate Eric Zeller for the Dallas Mustangs … A USA Swimming Academic All-American and team captain … Coached by Robert McNally.
