FRESHMAN SEASON (2005-06)
Versatile swimmer who added depth to LSU’s freestyle and backstroke efforts … Competed in every dual meet on the year and the SEC Championships … Had the team’s third-best times of the season in the 50 free (21.21) and 100 back (52.49) … Finished 31st in the 50 free (21.21) and nearly qualified for the finals of the 100 back at SECs with a 20th-place mark of 52.49 … Named to the SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll … Earned his first varsity letter.
PRIOR TO LSU
Standout freestyle and butterfly swimmer at Tallinn German Gymnasium … Coached by Tony Meijel and Riho Aljand … Estonian champion on several occasions at senior and junior levels … Swam in the 50 free, 100 free, 50 fly and 100 fly.
