FRESHMAN SEASON (2006-07)
One of the top freshmen standouts on the team who contributed significantly in distance freestyle and backstroke events … Competed in every dual meet, the Art Adamson Invitational and the SEC Championships … Highest finish was 17th place in the 1650 free at SEC’s (16:23.52) … That time registered as the second-fastest mark by any LSU swimmer all season … Placed 24th in the 500 free (4:37.48) and finished 22nd in the 200 back (1:54.32) at SEC’s … Qualified for the 100 back consolation final at the Art Adamson Invite and finished 16th overall (54.08) … Earned SEC Freshmen Academic Honor Roll recognition … Received his first varsity letter.
