SENIOR SEASON (2008-09)
Steady swimmer and team leader who made his mark in dual meets … Competed in every dual competition, the Art Adamson Invitational and the SEC Championships … Claimed a pair of career-best times at SEC’s … Swam to a 19th-place finish in the 100 butterfly with a personal best of 48.43 … Also recorded a career best of 44.84 in the 100 freestyle to take 23rd … Earned seventh overall in the 100 fly at Texas A&M’s Art Adamson Invitational with a 48.99 mark … Placed 18th in the 100 free (45.18) at the same competition … Emerged victorious in the 100 free in the season-opener against No. 3 Florida, reaching the wall in 45.38 … Also captured runner-up honors in the 100 fly (49.71) versus the Gators … Seized first-place in the 100 free in a victory over Alabama with a time of 45.58 … Also registered a victory in that race in a road meet versus Florida Atlantic … Spearheaded a 1-2 finish in the 100 free (45.58) in a victory over the 18th-ranked Florida State Seminoles … Topped the 50-free field on Senior Day against Delta State with a time of 21.28 … Served as a team co-captain for the second straight season … Received SEC Academic Honor Roll recognition.

JUNIOR SEASON (2007-08)
Proved to be one of the Tigers’ most versatile athletes and provided outstanding leadership as a team co-captain … Competed in every dual meet, the Georgia Tech Invitational and the SEC Championships … Enjoyed a fine meet at the SEC’s, setting a personal-best time of 48.85 in the 100-yard butterfly and capturing ninth in the 800 free … Tallied the  team’s third-fastest 200-free clocking of the season (1:40.63) at the SEC’s … Helped the 800 freestyle relay squad take the title over a large field at the Georgia Tech Invitational … Also played a major role on two winning relay teams during the dual-meet season … Notched a runner-up finish in the 100 fly (46.36) versus Alabama … Took third place in both the 100 and 200 freestyle races against Stanford to open the season … Swam the 1000 free in 9:55.09 to record a second-place finish against Delta State … Part of a 1-2-3-4 LSU finish in the 100 fly versus Florida State … Received SEC Academic Honor Roll honors … Earned his third varsity letter. 

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2006-07)
One of the most athletic swimmers on the team who turned in an outstanding freestyle season combined with leadership … Set career-highs in all three of his free events and posted a 200 free time in the school’s all-time top 10 … Competed in every dual meet, the Art Adamson Invitational, the SEC Championships and the Last Chance Bulldog Invitational … Helped the 200 free relay team post an NCAA provisional time of 1:19.64 at the Bulldog Invite … Took third in the 200 free consolation final (11th overall) at SEC’s with the seventh-best time in LSU history (1:38.41) … Finished 19th in the 100 free at the same meet with another career-fast time (45.20) … Member of 200 free relay that tied for fifth at SEC’s (1:20.10) and also swam in the 400 and 800 free relays … Helped clinch an upset win over No. 10 Florida State in the final event of the meet — the 200 free relay … Contributed two key individual runner-up finishes against the Seminoles … A part of the 400 free relay at the Art Adamson Invite that took second overall (2:59.49) … Scored in every dual meet with several second-place times … Recipient of the team’s Stripes Award for exhibiting inspirational leadership in the pool, weight room and classroom … Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll … Earned his second varsity letter.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2005-06)
Competed in sprint freestyle and butterfly events during his first season … Participated in every meet of the season … Posted team top-four season times in the 50 free (21.38), 100 free (46.64) and 200 free (1:44.95) … Also held the squad’s third-fastest time of the year in the 100 fly (49.32) … Participated in the 100-meter fly and 50-meter free at the U.S. Spring National Championships … Qualified for the “C” final of the 100 fly at the SEC Championships with a time of 49.32 … Finished 18th in that final heat (50.08) … Was 36th in the 50 free (21.38) and 35th in the 100 free (46.64) at SEC’s … Named to the SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll … Earned his first varsity letter.

PRIOR TO LSU
Talented athlete from the state of Texas … Earned four letters in swimming at Stephen F. Austin High School … First-team all-state selection in 2004 and 2005 … Seven-time varsity record holder … Voted “Most Valuable Swimmer” final three years of high school … Houston-Metro champion and state finalist in the 100 butterfly in 2005 … Versatile baseball player as a first baseman and pitcher … An academic all-district swimmer in 2004 … Member of district champion squad and runner-up in region.
