Had another outstanding season as he was the only male diver on the LSU squad … Made his fourth-straight SEC Championships appearance and competed at the NCAA Championships for the second time in his career … Scored a 502.00 in the Georgia Diving Invitational to place eighth … Placed 11th in the finals of the 1-meter competition at the Georgia meet with a score of 536.85 … That score was a new career-high for Van Arsdall … Made the finals in both the 1 and 3-meter diving competitions at the Minnesota Diving Invitational, placing ninth in the 3-meter competition and seventh in the 1-meter … Placed fifth in the platform competition at the 2003 Zone B Diving Regional with a new career-high score of 490.10 … Recorded two of his all-time best scores in his senior season … Was given the annual “Coaches” award by the LSU coaching staff for his performance during his senior season … Was one of three team captains on the squad … A member of the 2003 SEC Academic Honor Roll … Earned his fourth varsity letter.
JUNIOR SEASON (2001-02)
One of only two divers on the men’s squad … Competed at both the Southeastern Conference Championships and the NCAA Diving Regional … Placed 15th in the 1-meter event at the NCAA Zone B Regional with a score of 267.70 … Finished 21st in the 3-meter with a score of 278.20 and placed 11th in the platform with a score of 419.90 in the finals … Placed 12th in the 1-meter at the SEC Championships with a score of 271.30 … 16th in the 3-meter at the SEC’s with a mark of 435.50 and made the finals of the platform competition, placing fourth with a score of 459.80 … Had the Tigers’ best score in all three diving events during the season … Won the 1-meter competition at the Nike Cup Invitational with a score of 321.40, the best mark in his career in the event … Also placed second in the 3-meter at the Nike Cup with a mark of 548.85 … Won the 1-meter competition at the SEC West Quad Meet with a score of 275.00 … Won the 3-meter event in the Tigers’ dual-meet at Alabama with a mark of 188.00 … Won both the 1 and 3-meter competitions in a dual-meet at Wright State with a score of 312.45 in the 1-meter and 313.65 in the 3-meter … Won the 1-meter versus Florida with a score of 294.23 … Made the SEC Academic Honor Roll for the second-straight season with a 3.22 gpa in ISDS … Received the “Clutch” award from the coaching staff at the annual team banquet following the season … Earned his third varsity letter.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2000-01)
Qualified for the NCAA Championships and finished 23rd in the 3-meter springboard diving competition … The leading returning diver for the Tigers after finishing third on the team in all three diving events … Competed at the Southeastern Conference Championships for the second-straight season and finished 12th in the 1-meter event, 14th in the 3-meter, and 15th in the platform competition … Ended the season with the SEC’s fifth-highest score in the 1-meter event and the sixth-best score in the 3-meter competition … Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll … Earned LSU’s “Most Improved” award … Earned his second varsity letter.
FRESHMAN SEASON (1999-00)
Competed in the Southeastern Conference Championships in all three diving events and ended with an 11th-place finish in the platform, a 14th-place finish in the 1-meter and a 16th-place finish in the 3-meter competition … Earned his first varsity letter … A member of the Dean’s List during the spring semester.

Junior National qualifier … Named to the All-American team during his junior year at Colleyville Heritage High School … Both school and pool record holder … Four-year letterman at Colleyville Heritage High School … Three-year team captain … Three-year Texas state finalist.
