SENIOR SEASON (2002-03)
Swam in 13 meets during the season and participated in the Southeastern Conference Championships for the fourth time in her career and also participated in the prestigious Nike Cup Invitational in Chapel Hill, N.C. … Had the team’s second-fastest time in the 50-yard freestyle during the season (24.03) which she swam at the SEC Championships … Swam the third-best time all season in the 100-yard freestyle (52.11) at the Nike Cup Invitational … Had the Lady Tigers’ fourth-best time in the 100-yard butterfly (58.61) which she swam at the SEC Championships … Earned her fourth varsity letter.
JUNIOR SEASON (2001-02)
Swam in every meet of the season for the team … Had the second-fastest time in the 50-yard freestyle on the team all season, with a 23.72 at the SEC Championships to finish 21st in the prelims … Also scored a 51.69 in the 100-yard freestyle at the SEC’s … Teamed with Mandy Leach, Donna Leslie and Dawn Coy to placed sixth in the 200-yard freestyle relay at the SEC Championships with a time of 1:32.92 … That time was the best for LSU all season and only 34 seconds short of a school record … Was a part of the 400-yard freestyle relay team which placed seventh at the SEC Championships with a time of 3:25.02 … That time was also a season-best for LSU … A participant at the SEC Championships for the third year in a row … Earned her third varsity letter.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2000-01)
Member of the Lady Tigers’ fastest relay squads in the 200, 400, and 800-yard freestyle events … Competed in the Southeastern Conference Championships for the second-straight season and finished 32nd in the 50-yard freestyle and 33rd in the 200 freestyle … Turned in the Lady Tigers’ third-fastest time in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:56.53 against Alabama … Played an integral role on all of the freestyle and medley relay teams … Earned her second varsity letter.
FRESHMAN SEASON (1999-00)
Competed in the Southeastern Conference Championships as a freshman in both the 50 and 100-yard freestyle events, as well as the 100-yard butterfly competition … Placed 16th in the 50 freestyle, 20th in the 100 butterfly, and 28th in the 100-yard freestyle event at the SEC Championships … Recorded the Lady Tigers’ second-fastest times of the season in both the 50 and 200-yard freestyle events, as well as the 50-yard breaststroke competition … Finished her freshman season with LSU’s third-best times in both the 100-freestyle event and the 100-butterfly competition … Added needed depth to the relay events, and was a member of four of the Lady Tigers’ five-fastest teams of the season … Earned her first varsity letter.
PRIOR TO LSU
Four-year team Most Valuable Performer at Zachary High School … Voted as the team captain her senior season … Qualified for the Junior National Championships in both the 50 and 100-yard freestyle events as well as the 100-yard butterfly event and the 200-yard individual medley competition … Finished in third place at the 1997 Junior National Championships … Won the Junior National Championship in the 100-yard freestyle event in 1998 … Louisiana state champion in both the 50 and 100-yard freestyle competitions.
