FRESHMAN SEASON (2020-21)
Against Alabama to start the season, finished in fourth place in the 200-Yard Backstroke with a time of 2:02.36 and seventh place in the 100-Yard Backstroke with a time of 57.65… At the Art Adamson Invitational, finished in fifth place in the 200-Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:59.78, 10th place in the 100-Yard Backstroke with a time of 56.23, and 19th place in the 50-Yard Freestyle with a time of 24.45… In a dual meet against Tulane she finished seventh overall in the 200-Yard Backstroke with a time of 2:06.36 and seventh in the 100-Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:00.23… Against Florida State University she finished eighth overall in the 100-Yard Backstroke with a time of 58.00… Against Texas A&M she touched the wall third overall in the 200-Yard Backstroke with a time of 2:01.40… At the 2021 SEC Championships, finished in 37th place in the 200-Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:58.91, 47th place in the 100-Yard Backstroke with a time of 55.89, and 68th place in the 50-Yard Freestyle with a time of 24.08… Named to the First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll
PRIOR TO LSU
Lettered four years at The Woodlands High School for coach Jeremy Wade… Was a part of two State Championship teams in 2017 and 2018… As a senior, named to All-District, Region, and State Team for Backstroke… Won the Individual Regional Title in the 100 Back… As a junior, she was a member of the State Championship winning 200 Medley Relay team… Was named to All-District, Region, and State Teams for Backstroke… During her sophomore season, was a member of the title-winning 400 Free Relay team… Again named to All-District, Region, and State Teams for her backstroke performances throughout the season… As a freshman, she was named All-District and All-Region for Backstroke.

Ful name is Sydney Grayce Roycraft… Born on June 11, 2001… Parents are Kevin and Stacy Roycraft… Has one brother, Nolan… Was a member of the National Honors Society, National Science Honor Society, and was a Three-Time USA Scholastic All-American… Chose LSU because of the outstanding academic opportunities, strong team culture, and passionate coaching staff… “I quickly realized the environment encourages individual growth while bettering the team…” Majoring in Business Administration.
