SOPHOMORE SEASON (2025-26)
Qualified for the NCAA Championships, competing on the 800-free realy team, which placed 19th (7:05.09; 1:46.44 split) … Began her sophomore season at the SMU Classic by taking seventh in the 500-free (4:47.58), eighth in the 200-back (1:57.63), and eighth in the 400-IM (4:16.76) … At the Air Force Invitational, she placed first in the 400-IM (4:31.21), second in the 500-free (5:03.31), and second in the 1000-free (10:33.33) … In the home opener against Kentucky, Santuliana won the 1000-free (9:45.68) and took second in the 500-free (4:46.08) … In the tri meet victory over Alabama/FSU, she notched the top spot in the 1000-free (9:44.67) and second in the 500-free (4:43.75) … Won both the 200-IM (2:00.92) and the 1000-free (9:47.55) against Rice, Houston, and Tulane … At midseasons, the sophomore touched the wall fourth in the 200-back with a personal best (1:54.55), fifth in the 1650-free (16:21.17), sixth in the 400-IM (4:14.75), and eighth in the 500-free (4:46.61) … At Florida, she placed second in the 500-free (4:55.64) and third in the 1000-free (10:05.81) … In the SEC Championships, the sophomore took 11th in the 1650-free (16:19.82), 19th in the 200-back (1:55.87), and 21st in the 500-free (4:46.17) … At the Auburn Invitational/Last Chance Invite, she clocked a time of 53.86 in the 100-back and 16:33.26 in the 1650-free
FRESHMAN SEASON (2024-25)
Qualified for NCAA Championships as a part of the 200-free relay squad … In opening meet of the season against Texas placed second in 500-free (4:40.85) and third in 1000-free (9:39.52) … Won 200-back against Navy, George Mason and Loyola (1:58.05) and took second in 200-free (1:49:00) … In tri-meet against Houston and Tulane took top spot in 500-free (4:46.09) and third in 200-free (1:48.31) … Finished second in 500-free and 1000-free against Alabama and Florida State (4:43.15) and (9:42.35), respectively … At midseasons placed 14th in 200-free with a personal best (1:46.50), 17th in 500-free (4:44.78), and 14th in 200-back (1:56.10) … Against Texas A&M took second in 500-free (4:44.54) and second in 1000-free (9:45.27) … At SEC Championships placed 13th in 1650-free with a personal best (16:12.45) and set a personal best in prelims of 200-back (1:55.72)
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended the Farina All-Inclusive Institute in her hometown of Costabissara, Italy… Primarily a distance swimmer in the freestyle events… In addition to the freestyle events, she swims in the backstroke and butterfly from time to time
PERSONAL
Goes by “Niky”… Born on Nov. 15, 2005… A native of Costabissara in Vicenza… Her parents are Andrea and Desirée; she has two siblings – Alessia and Tommaso… Her sister was a swimmer until 2017, and her little brother was a swimmer who competed in the butterfly and distance freestyle events… Chose LSU because “LSU is a family. Since the first time I came to the campus, I immediately felt comfortable, and the coaches were very kind.”
