FRESHMAN SEASON (2020-21)

In his first career meet against Alabama, finished in third place in the 100-Yard Backstroke with a time of 49.57, fourth place in the 200-Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:48.94, and seventh place in the 50-Yard Freestyle with a time of 21.45… At the Art Adamson Invitational, finished in ninth place in the 100-Yarf Backstroke with a time of 50.80, 10th place in the 200-Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:49.63, and 20th place in the 50-Yard Freestyle with a time of 21.42… Against Texas A&M he touched the wall second in the 200-Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:50.41 and fifth in the 100-Yard Backstroke with a time of 51.22… At the 2021 SEC Championships, finished in 22nd place in the 100-Yard Backstroke with a time of 48.09, 25th in the 200-Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:45.58, and 50th in the 50-Yard Freestyle with a time of 20.62… Named to the First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll

PRIOR TO LSU

Lettered four years at Jesuit High School for coach Bret Hanemann… Was a part of the 2016-2019 District Championship and Metro Championship winning teams and the 2017 and 2018 State Championship winning teams at Jesuit… Individual State Champion in 2018 in the 100 Back… 2019 State Champion in the 50 and 100 Free.

Full name is Michael Richard Foley… Born on October 17, 2001… Parents are Michael and Beth Foley… Has two sisters, Abby and Amy, and one brother, Hayden… Was a Three-Time Scholastic All-American… Chose LSU because of the unique team spirit noticed while visiting the university… “It was something I really wanted to be apart of…” Majoring in Business Administration.
