FRESHMAN SEASON (2025-26)
Qualified for the NCAA Championships, competing in 100-breast, 200-breast, 200-medley relay, 400-medley relay, and 800-free relay … At NCAAs, the freshman earned All-American status for her performance on the tenth-place 200-medley relay team; she went on to place 19th in the 800-free relay, 21st in the 400-medley relay, 25th in the 100-breast (59.69), and 46th in the 200-breast (2:12.17) … At the SEC Championships in Knoxville, Bukvic recorded top-five finishes in the 100-breast (5th - 59.47) and 200-breast (5th - 2:09.23); she was also part of the fourth-place 200-medley relay team and fifth-place 400-medley relay teams for the Tigers … She began her collegiate career by taking the top spot in the 100-breast (1:03.09) and the 200-breast (2:19.03) and second in the 200-IM (2:08.11) … Against Kentucky, the freshman touched the wall second in both the 100-breast (1:00.91) and the 200-breast (2:13.32), as well as placing eighth in the 200-IM (2:05.71) … In the tri meet against Alabama/FSU, she notched first in the 200-breast (2:09.92), second in the 100-breast (59.78), and third in the 200-IM (2:01.36) … The following day against Rice, Houston, and Tulane, Bukvic finished first in the 200-breast (2:10.64), second in the 200-IM (2:01.79), and third in the 100-breast (1:00.87) … At midseasons, the freshman took third in the 100-breast (59.54) and fourth in the 200-breast (2:08.81) … At Florida, she placed fifth in the 100-breast (1:03.56) and sixth in the 200-breast (2:20.91)
PRIOR TO LSU
A highly-decorated swimmer from Serbia … Two-time champion at Serbian Junior Championships in 200-meter freestyle and 200-meter breaststroke in 2020 … Notched the top spot at Banja Luka Open in 200-meter breaststroke and 50-meter breaststroke in 2023 … In 2024, she won four races at Serbian Open Championship including 200-yard breaststroke, 200-yard individual medley, 50-yard breaststroke, and 100-yard breaststroke and placed fifth at European Aquatics Junior Championships … Was a finalist at 2025 LEN European U23 Championships earning fifth place in 200 L breaststroke.
