JUNIOR SEASON (2003-04)
Arguably, the most productive swimmer on the squad, showing tremendous versatility … Etched her name into two all-time top 10 times, including 10th in the 100 freestyle (51.31) and fourth in the 100 breaststroke (1:03.83) … Was LSU’s highest finisher in three events at the SEC Championships … Placed eighth in the 100 breast finals (1:03.83) and 16th in the 200 breast finals (2:22.25) … Swam four relays at SEC’s and all final times were season bests … Best relay finish was fifth in the 200 medley relay (1:43.95) … Earned an NCAA “B” cut time in the 800 free relay (7:24.29) … Won the 100 breast versus Rice on Jan. 30 (1:05.67) … Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll for the second time … Earned her third varsity letter.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2002-03)
One of the Lady Tigers’ top breaststroke swimmers … Competed in 10 meets and the SEC Championships for the second consecutive year … Posted the 10th-fastest time in school history in the 100 breast finals at SEC’s (1:05.02) … Finished 16th in the finals of that event … One of three Lady Tigers who placed in the finals of the 200 breast at SEC’s … Finished 15th in that event with a mark of 2:20.76, the third fastest time of the season and a personal best … Placed 30th in the prelims of the 200 IM at SEC’s with a time of 2:08.60, also a personal best … Captured the 100 freestyle in a meet at Houston with a time of 54.41 … Teamed with three other Lady Tigers to finish 20th in the 400 free relay finals at the Nike Cup Invitational … Earned SEC Academic Honor Roll and LSU Director’s Cup honors … Earned her second varsity letter.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2001-02)
Participated in every meet of the season as well as the SEC Championships … Was on both the 200 and 400 medley relay teams at SEC’s which each finished fifth … Best finish at the SEC’s was a 17th-place showing in the prelims of the 100 breaststroke (1:05.80) … Finished 19th in the prelims of the 200 breast (2:21.62) and was 21st in the 200 IM 2:09.30 … Swam the 100 breast in a time of 1:05.31 at the Texas Invitational, the best time by any Lady Tiger … Her time in the 200 IM (2:09.30) at SEC’s was the fifth-fastest on the team during the season … Her time of 2:21.62 in the 200 breast at SEC’s was the second best on the squad all season … Earned her first varsity letter.
PRIOR TO LSU
Represented the country of Zimbabwe at the 1999 All-Africa Games and received a silver medal and two bronze medals … Lettered in swimming all four years in high school.
