SOPHOMORE SEASON (1999-2000): Recorded the Tigers second-fastest time of the season in the 200-yard breaststroke competition with a time of 2:05.85… Competed at the Southeastern Conference Championships in the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke events, as well as the 50-yard freestyle competition… Placed 19th in the 200 breaststroke, 22nd in the 100 breaststroke, and 39th in the 50-yard freestyle… Finished the season with LSUs third-best times in both the 50 (26.86) and 100-yard (58.22) breaststroke events… Earned his second varsity letter.
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (1998-99): Placed 15th at the SEC Championships in the 100-yard breaststroke event and 14th in the 200-yard breaststroke competition… Earned his first varsity letter.
FRESHMAN SEASON (1997-98): Redshirted.
Prior to LSU: Selected to the All-Metro swimming and diving team his senior season… Louisiana state champion in the 100-yard breaststroke competition during his junior season… Qualified for the Junior National Championships in both the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke events… Voted team captain and Most Valuable Performer for three consecutive years… Four-year swimming letterman at Fontainebleau High School.
