SOPHOMORE SEASON (1998-99): Qualified for the U.S. Diving National Championships… Finished 21st in the nation at the NCAA Mens Swimming and Diving Championships in the 1-meter springboard… Placed fourth in the 3-meter springboard event at the NCAA Regional Championships… Earned his second varsity letter.
FRESHMAN SEASON (1997-98): Finished the season second on the squad in both the one-meter springboard and the platform event in both dual-meet and championship competition… Had the fifth-best score in LSU history with a total of 650.45 on the platform at the SEC Championships… Placed seventh at the SEC Championships in the platform competition, and eighth in both the 1-meter and 3-meter events… Qualified to compete in the U.S. Zone “C” Diving Championships in all three diving events… Placed fourth at the Zone “C” Championships on the 1-meter, sixth on the 3-meter and seventh on the platform… Qualified to compete at the U.S. Diving National Championships as a freshman… Earned his first varsity letter.
Prior to LSU: Instrumental in helping Carson High win back-to-back state titles… Set state records during both his junior and sophomore seasons… Three-year diving letterman… Qualified for Junior Nationals in both the one and three-meter springboard events… Did not compete his senior season due to an early graduation.
