Opened the season at Utah by placing fourth in one-meter with a score of 250.43 and second on three-meter with a score of 370.50, a personal best during his time in Baton Rouge… In a tri-team meet with FSU and Alabama, claimed third on one-meter with a score of 308.10 and eighth on three-meter with a score of 283.65

FRESHMAN SEASON (2022-23)
In the opening dual meet, placed fourth on 1M (302.63) and fourth on 3M (319.28) … In a tri-team meet with Denver and Air Force, placed second on 1M (323.15) and fourth on 3M (347.75) … In a dual meet with Auburn, claimed fifth on 3M (304.28) and sixth on 1M (278.25) … In the second consecutive conference dual meet with Alabama, placed second on 3M (330.38) and third on 1M (254.48) … At the Texas Diving Invite, won the platform event (438.35), placed 12th on 1M (310.05) and 22nd on 3M (273.00) … At the Auburn Diving Invite, claimed second on platform (448.70; 2nd in school history), eighth on 3M (347.40) and eighth on 1M (305.00) … Against FSU, finished in second on 1M (325.20) and seventh on 3M (268.88) … Against Texas A&M, placed fifth on 1M (312.20) and 3M (327.30) … At the Zone D diving regional, finished in first on platform (829.90) … At NCAA’s, earned second-team All-America honors with a ninth place finish (427.05).

HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Claremont Secondary School in Cordova Bay, BC… Garnered a bronze medal in the a silver medal on one-meter and bronze on platform at the 2019 Junior Nationals… In 2019, at the annual Dresden International Junior Meet, he collected a silver on platform.

Full name is Carson John Joseph Paul… Born on Sept. 30, 2004… Son of 1992 Olympic rowing champion Terry Paul and Ingrid… Has two siblings – Ava and Oliver… His father served as Olympic head rowing coach for Canada in multiple games… Chose LSU “Because it was clear that the athletes are highly valued and, the environment because of that is very welcoming.”
