SENIOR SEASON (2005-06)
Compiled a 17-11 record in doubles play and a 8-3 record in doubles play…Notched a 7-11 record in singles… In the Fall, Finished with a 4-6 singles record and a 2-4 doubles record … Reached the semifinals of the Pebbled Beach bracket at the Wells Fargo Hurricane Katrina Relief Tournament…Earned fourth varsity letter.
JUNIOR SEASON (2004-05)
Named 2005 SEC Scholar Athlete of the Year… Named ITA Scholar Athlete for the second straight year… Finished the season with a record of 11-9 in singles and 10-7 in doubles… Was 6-5 in singles and 5-4 in doubles in fall play, going 3-2 with Kevin Dessauer… Saw action in four fall tournaments including the ITA Southeast Regional and the ITA All-American Tournaments… Earned third varsity letter.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2003-04)
Named ITA Scholar Athlete … Did not play in the fall and returned to the team for limited action in the spring … Won both his singles matches and his only doubles match… Earned second varsity letter.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2002-03)
Named Louisiana Freshman of the Year … Was 16-15 overall in singles and 6-4 in the SEC … Had two clinchers and was 7-4 in three-set matches … Was 1-0 at No. 4 singles, 5-5 at No. 5 and 5-5 at No. 6 … Went on a four-match win streak at the beginning of the season … Was 7-8 in doubles with Peter Richman.
PRIOR TO LSU
Won the 5A Louisiana State doubles championship as a freshman in 1999 … Finished as the singles championship runner-up in both his junior and senior seasons … Lettered at Barbe HS in track and cross country … Earned Summa Cum Laude honors at after graduating with a 3.9 grade point average … Voted Most Intelligent Student of the 2002 senior class … Was a member the Key Club and the National Honor Society.
