A force for the Tigers in his debut season… Earned All-Freshman Team and All-SEC Second Team honors with two SEC Freshman of the Week awards to his name… Capped his season with 21 singles wins split between the top two spots backed by a team-high ten ranked victories… Captured nine SEC wins… Achieved a win streak as high as ten, spanning from Feb. 14 to March 22… Highlight wins feature defeating Alex Frusina, 7-5, 5-7, 6-3, in a 4-3 clinch for the Tigers over then-No. 8 Texas A&M in LSU’s first ITA National Team Indoor Championships since 2006… Then-No. 18 Jakub Vrba, 6-4, 6-0, in LSU’s 6-1 win over Arkansas… Straight-sets victory over then-No. 20 Kalin Ivanovski, 6-2, 6-4, in LSU’s signature 4-3 win over No. 2 Texas… Finished the season with an ITA ranking of No. 32 after reaching a season-high ranking of No. 22… Paired up primarily with senior Matias Ponce de Leon in doubles… Finished with 21 wins, going 20-6 with Ponce de Leon primarily on the second court… Went 8-5 in the SEC… Started their season 7-0 together… Earned two ranked wins over Arkansas’s No. 64 Vrba and Connor Smillie, 6-1, and Kentucky’s No. 89 Martin Breysach and Jaden Weekes, 6-4… Clinched ten doubles points this season and reached an ITA ranking as high as No. 42.
