Sophomore Season (1999-2000): Notched 11-7 overall record, including a 2-3 dual mark … Won two fall tournaments, the Continental Airlines Cup and Tulane Invitational … Beat Tulane’s Mikko Viljanen and New Orleans’ Sebastian Locatelli in the respective finals … Advanced to second round of the ITA Region III Championships before falling to No. 89 Matias Boeker of Georgia … Beat Jarin Skube of Texas A&M, 6-3, 6-2 in LSU’s 5-2 rout of the Aggies … Scored a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Fred Lady of Alcorn State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament … Played five doubles dual matches with two partners and posted 3-2 mark … Went 2-0 at the No. 3 spot with Tom Hand, including an 8-6 victory over Vanderbilt’s team of Oding-Tarkoff … Recorded second SEC doubles victory with Ed Rubin as the pair outlasted Auburn’s Strecker-Mizerski 9-8 (2) at No. 3 … Earned doubles ranking of 44th at the end of the fall season with Ajay Ramaswami after the duo won the Continental Airlines Cup.

Freshman Season (1998-99): Forced to step into line-up early in season and contribute after injury to Dan Kiernan … Was crucial to the team’s success as LSU went 11-0 when he won his match, but only 3-6 when he lost … Had two clinching points on the season … Came back from one-set down to defeat Jeff Bergman 3-6, 6-1, 6-1 at South Carolina in LSU’s 4-3 upset victory … Posted a 9-4 doubles dual mark with partner Michal Chmela at Nos. 2 and 3 … The duo was 7-2 in conference play and had a victory over a top 50 opponent.

Prior to LSU: Was a four year letterman at Fallbrook High School … Earned San Diego Player of the Year honors in 1996 and 1997 … Was the Palamer League MVP as well as the Palamer League champion … Went undefeated in senior season at the No. 1 position … Earned the Warrior Head Award for achieving a GPA of 3.75 or above.
