SENIOR SEASON (2018-19)
Senior season was limited to nine games because of injury that required season-ending surgery … Averaged 4.4 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists … Averaged 17.1 minutes a game … Made 13 field goals with six treys … Hit 4-of-8 field goals with two assists in scoring 12 points in win over Louisiana Tech (11/16) … Had eight points with two treys against Florida State (11/23) … 10 games in two years in double figures … Received medical hardship and an additional season of eligibility. 

JUNIOR SEASON (17-18)
Played in 32 games with 16 starts, including eight of the last 11 games … Averaged 6.8 points per game, 1.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game … 73-of-158 FG (46.2%), 39 3FGS, 31-of-39 FT (79.5%) … Best game was 21 points at Alabama (2/13) on 8-of-10 field goal shooting, including 3-of-3 from the arc … Nine games scoring in double figures … Averaged 22 minutes per game … Made three three-point field goals five times … Scored 11 points in the SEC Tournament game with Mississippi State with three treys … Scored all 14 of his points against Arkansas at home in the first half (2/3) to help the Tigers get a big momentum swing that carried them through the game.

PRIOR TO LSU
Edwards helped Northwest Florida State College in Niceville, Florida, advance deep into the National Junior College basketball championships both years with his team going to the final eight in 2016 and the national semifinals in 2017 under Coach Steve DeMeo … As a sophomore (2016-17), he averaged 13.6 points per game, 3.1 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 28.4 minutes per game. He shot 48.9 percent (161-of-329) and shot over 46 percent from the arc (76 treys) … He ranked 23rd in national junior college stats in three-point percentage … As a freshman (2015-16) he averaged 13.4 points per game, 4.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists. He averaged 27.4 minutes per game and shot 45.2 percent from the field with 47 treys … The 2017 team won the Panhandle Conference title and in advancing to the national semis, Edwards averaged 19.3 points in the tournament and earned Division I All-Tournament honors … He was the No. 23 ranked junior college player in the country … Also played high school football (QB/WR) for four years at Fresno High …. In high school averaged 29 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists.
