SENIOR SEASON (2019-20)

Only player this season to play and start in all 35 games … Had his best season as a Tiger averaging 13.4 points per game, 3.3 rebounds per game 2.1 assists and 1.9 steals per contest … Was second in the league in steals at 1.9 a game and second in free throw percentage at 86.0 percent (129-of-150) … Averaged a team best 33.1 minutes per game (fifth in the league), making 143 field goals and 55 three-pointers … Averaged 13.7 points per game in SEC play and 14.0 points in the three NCAA Tournament games … 26 games in double figures giving him 61 games total in double digits over three seasons … Six games over 20 point this season, including career best of 24 at Missouri (1/26) and 23 vs. Tennessee (2/23) … Also had 20 at Alabama (3/2), 20 vs. Auburn (2/9), 20 versus Georgia (1/23) and 20 vs. Oklahoma State (11/25) … Had season best of six assists versus Incarnate Word (12/9) and five steals vs. South Carolina (1/19) … Played a career high 45 minutes in the overtime win versus Tennessee (2/23) … Earned first-team CoSIDA Academic All-American honors and for the second straight year was named the winner of the Jesse Owens Award for the highest GPA for an undergraduate student-athlete as named by the LSU Black Faculty and Staff Caucus … One of 42 players to score 1,000 career points and ended his junior season at 1,100 … In three seasons is 15th in career assists with 282 and 12th in career steals with 158 … Third in career free throw percentage at 84.1 (275-327).

SOPHOMORE SEASON (17-18)
Upped his scoring average three full points in his second year at LSU, from 8.3 to 11.3 points per game … He played in all 33 games starting 30 and in two years has made 55 starts in 64 career games … Averaged 4.0 rebounds a game and 3.0 assists a game … Also 1.6 steals per contest … Became the second part of Coach Will Wade’s two-point guard system at LSU … In the UGA game (2/24), he became the 33rd player in LSU history to have 200 career assists … He is now at 210 assists … Second straight year with good assist-to-turnover numbers of 97-to-56 … No. 15 in the league in minutes player per game at 31.1 … 22 games in double figures, including eight-of-the-last-10 … In the NIT two games scored 27 combined points, was 11-of-20 from the field with 5-of-9 from the arc … Best games of season came twice – 20 points vs. Samford (11/16) and at UGA (2/24) … 35 games over two years in double figures … 14 career games over two years with five assists or more … 125-of-282 from the field (44.3 percent) with 47 three-pointers (68 over two years) … 77-of-92 at the free throw line (83.2%) … Four times made four treys in a game … Honored by LSU’s Black Faculty and Staff Caucus at their annual awards presentation in Spring 2018 as one of the recipients of the Jesse Owens Student Award for the highest GPA by undergraduate student-athletes.

FRESHMAN SEASON (16-17)
Started at point guard in 25-of-the-31 games that LSU played during the season … Averaged 22.9 minutes per game, 8.3 points, 2.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.3 steals per contest … 13 games scoring in double figures, 10 against Southeastern Conference teams … 7 games of 5 assists or more … Averaged 10.4 points per game in the 18 regular season league games … Improved scoring average from 5.6 to 8.3 at end of season … Finished the year 10th in the league in assist average … 113 assists and 69 turnovers, an assist/turnover ratio of 1.6, ninth in the league … Best assist game of 11 in the win over Houston (11/29) … Had 22 points at Arkansas, hitting 6-of-9 field goals with one trey and 9-of-11 at the free throw line (1/21) … Had 19 at Ole Miss (2/14) … Shot 41 percent from the field (83-202), 21 treys (32.8%) and 81.2 percent at the free throw line (69-85) … 28-of-31 at the line (90.3%) over the last 10 games of the year.

HIGH SCHOOL
Played four seasons at University High School in Baton Rouge (grades 8-11) where he averaged 7.2 assists per game under head coach Joe Spencer (last year at U-High, 2014-15) … He had 888 assists in his career and 295 steals with only 367 turnovers … Averaged 11.1 during the 2013-14 season and 9.1 points, 8.1 assists and 3.2 rebounds during the 2014-15 campaign … Set the record for assists at the LHSAA Top-28 twice with 17 in two games … Helped the Cubs to back-to-back high school 3A State Championships in 2014 and 2015 … Named First Team All-State twice and was a three-time First Team All-District selection … High school teammates with teammate Wayde Sims … Transferred to Findlay Prep for his senior season (2015-16) where he played under Andy Johnson in 29 games, averaging 10.9 points per game, 5.3 assists per game, 3.0 rebounds per game and 2.7 steals per game … Member of the honor roll.
