JUNIOR SEASON (2016-17)
Patterson played in all 31 games, starting 10 … Played more this season at the point guard position than he did in his first two years, but also played off guard with Skylar Mays at various points during the season … Averaged 22.3 minutes per game, 5.8 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.2 steals a contest … Four games in double figures, 17 in his three years … Has played in 90 games, starting 36 over three years … During the course of the year became the 32nd LSU player to join the 200 career assists club (206) and the 26th player to join the 100 steals club at LSU (109) … Career high 93 assists this season, with just 54 turnovers (1.7 assist-to-turnover ratio, seventh best in the SEC) … Second career 20-point game in the Tennessee win (3/4) with 22, hitting 8-of-12 field goals, three treys, three free throws … Eight games with five assists or more highlighted by eight against North Florida (11/18), seven versus VCU (11/25) … Shot 65-of-171 (38 percent) from the field with 29 treys.

Started 16 games and played in 28 total, averaging 4.7 points per game … Averaged 22 minutes per game and had 45 assists, 34 steals and one block … Made his first start of the season against NC State in Brooklyn at the Legends Classic (11/24) … Had a season-high five assists in his start at Charleston (11/30) … Started against North Florida (12/2) with 11 points, three assists and no turnovers in 24 minutes … Played 13 minutes against Wake Forest (12/29) in return after missing four games with a leg injury … Played 32 minutes with nine points, three assists, three steals and no turnovers versus Arkansas (1/16) … Started four straight games after re-entering the starting lineup at Arkansas (2/23) … Had three double figure games during the season—13 in his first two years … Scored 11 points versus Florida (2/27) with three treys.

AUSTRALIA TRIP (AUGUST 2015)
Played in all five games on the tour, primarily at backup point guard … Averaged 13 minutes per game, 2.2 points and 1.2 rebounds … Had four assists and six steals on the trip.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2014-15)
Patterson played 31 games (missing two with injury in which he did not dress), starting the final 11 games for the Tigers … 10 games in double figure scoring … Averaged 6.8 points per game, 2.4 rebounds and 2.19 assists per game … Averaged 8.8 points in league play …. Scored season best of 20 points in regular season finally at #18 Arkansas, an 81-78 win (3/7) … Hit 6-of-8 treys in the game, 7-of-11 total field goals … Six games of 3-or-more three-point field goals … Also scored 16 at Auburn (2/14), 15 in the double overtime win over Georgia (1/10) and 13 vs. Auburn (3/13) and Texas A&M (1/17) … Best of 7 assists at Auburn (2/24) …. 7 rebounds versus Alabama (2/7) … 44-of-118 from the arc (37.3 percent) … 16-of-19 from the free-throw line (84.2 percent) … 68 assists to just 26 turnovers with 37 steals … Averaged 24.5 minutes per game.

PRIOR TO LSU
Point guard at Montverde for Coach Kevin Boyle as the team captured one state championship and two ESPN national championships (2011-14) … Team was No. 1 in the nation in many of the polls after going 28-0 and winning the National High School Championship for the second straight year (2014) … In 2013, Patterson hit the game-winning 3-pointer last April when Montverde beat Tyler Ennis and St. Benedict’s Prep in the National Invitational Final … He also played point guard with the Atlanta Celtics.
