JUNIOR SEASON (2015-16)
Played in 19 games for the Tigers and made his first career start at Tennessee (2/20), scoring two points, had two rebounds and two blocks in his 10 minutes of action … Played 18 minutes at Charleston (11/30) following a career-high 24 minutes against NC State (11/24) in the Legends Classic in Brooklyn, N.Y. … Had a season-high seven points and three blocks at Charleston where he went 2-of-5 from the floor and recorded nine boards … Returned against Kentucky (1/5) after being sidelined from a leg injury for five games and played in the final minute of the LSU victory, scoring on his one field goal attempt … Made his second return of season after sitting out four games at Alabama (1/23), playing one minute.
AUSTRALIA TOUR (August 2015)
Despite missing most of the pre-trip practice sessions with a lower leg injury, Bridgewater was able to play in four games … Posted 45 minutes and averaged 1.5 points per game and 3.3 rebounds … Scored four points with five rebounds in nine minutes in his first appearance in the second game loss to the Sydney Kings … Played 16 minutes in the win over Melbourne.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2014-15)
Joined the Tigers for 2014-15 after having to sit out the 2013-14 season, although he was able to attend LSU and receive financial aid … Played in 29 games, averaging 6.6 minutes a game … Averaged 2.2 points per game and 1.1 rebounds … Made 28-of-52 field goal attempts … Played 22 minutes with Jordan Mickey out against McNeese State, making 7-of-8 field goals, 5 rebounds and 3 steals … Also scored nine points at Texas A&M (2/17) … Also had top rebound game of six against the Aggies … Had three steals versus McNeese (11/29).
PRIOR TO LSU
MVP of the Top 28 state playoffs for Scotlandville High School in 2013 … Bridgewater helped Scotlandville to an 80-71 win in overtime in the Class 5A state championship game over Ouachita … Bridgewater scored 24 points and 13 rebounds … He was named first team All-State in the classification as selected by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association in 2013 … Averaged 15.1 points per game and 8.3 rebounds per game … Also earned Class 2A All-State honors and All-Metro honors at Episcopal, where he played for three seasons ….
