Randolph finished his freshman season averaging 15.6 points per game, 8.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.1 steals and 2.3 blocks per game, while playing 32.8 minutes a game … Only player to play and start in all 31 games … 27 games in double figures, including nine over 20 points … Nine double doubles … Shot 46.4 percent from the floor, 69.3 from the line … Season best of 19 rebounds against Vanderbilt (1/19) … Season best scoring was 29 in the win over Alabama (3/5) … Three nights hitting 10 field goals (vs. Southern, 11/30; at Florida, 2/2; Alabama, 3/5) … In last nine games, raised his scoring average from 13.7 ppg to final average of 15.6 … Averaged 16.7 points and 9.1 rebounds in the 16 conference games … Blocked six shots in his opening game of career against Southeastern Louisiana (11/12) … Had eight games of four blocks or more during the season … Finished 12th in the league in scoring, third in rebounds, 11th in field goal percentage, third in blocked shots, second in defensive rebounds … Among freshman in the league was fifth in scoring, first in rebounds and first in blocked shots.
