SENIOR SEASON (2003-04)
Left the Tiger team in the final weeks of the season to rehabilitate on his own the minor injuries that limited his playing time in the middle of February … When healthy, one of the top players in the Southeastern Conference, who had LSU positioned for a second straight NCAA berth after defeating Florida on  the road in Gainesville (2-14) in a game in which he twice returned to the court after rolling his right ankle … Finished as the second leading rebounder in the nation at 11.6 rebounds per game … Led the SEC in rebounds by 1.5 boards in all games and led the rebound category in league games played as well with an 11.7 average … Sixth in the SEC in scoring … In the Florida game became the 33rd player in LSU history to pull down 500 rebounds in a career … Averaged 10.1 boards over the two years … Third in the league, 20th in the country in field goal percentage at 58.1 percent … In 22 games, Lloreda recorded 21 double figure scoring games, 15 double figure rebound games, 14 double-doubles and 11 games shooting better than 60 percent from the field … The last time an LSU player averaged double figures in rebounds was in 1993 when Geert Hammink led the league with a 10.2 average. Hammink and Shaquille O’Neal in 1990 (12.0), 14.7 (1991), 1992 (14.0) are the only times since 1980 that an LSU player has averaged double figure rebounds … In the first game of the season, Lloreda went 30-21 against McNeese State (11-24), scoring 30 points with 21 rebounds, the first at LSU since Shaquille O’Neal did 30-20 against Auburn on Feb. 22, 1992 and it was the first 30-point game at LSU since Ronald Dupree scored 30 against Arkansas on Feb. 16, 2002 … 35 double figure scoring games in his career, 23 double doubles … Finish career as fifth at LSU in shots blocked (89) and sixth in field goal percentage (.571)

JUNIOR SEASON (2002-03)
Second on the team in scoring at 12.3 points per game (leading returning scorer for this season) and the leading rebounder on the team at 9.0 rebounds a game … Was 16th in the league in scoring and second in the league in rebounding … Averaged 29.2 minutes per game, starting 29 of 30 games played in … In league play, averaged 11.8 points per game (19th in the SEC) and 8.3 rebounds (second in the league) … Had 19 games in double figures, including three games over 20 points … Was named the MVP of the championship game of the Hispanic Classic at LSU (Nov. 24) when he had his first LSU double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds in 31 minutes of play … For the year, Lloreda had nine double-doubles … For his play against Prairie View and top-ranked Arizona, Lloreda was named the SEC Player of the Week (Dec. 23) … For the two games, Lloreda was 10-of-17 from the field, 11-of-15 from the free throw line with 31 points and 25 rebounds … Averaged 56 percent from the floor (136-of-243) and was only below 50 percent from the field in eight games… Finished the year with 61 blocked shots, tied for the fifth-best single season in LSU history … Second in the league in blocked shot average (2.03 bpg).

PRIOR TO LSU
Lloreda led Dixie State College (Utah) to a 34-3 record and the NJCAA National Championship during the 2001-2002 basketball season … He became the second National Junior College Player of the Year to come to LSU in the John Brady era … During his two years at Dixie State, Lloreda led the Rebels to an impressive 69-5 record … In two seasons, Lloreda tallied 1,210 points, 679 rebounds and 114 blocked shots … During the 2001-02 season, Lloreda averaged 20.5 points per game, 9.5 rebounds per game with 67 blocks and 54 steals … Was named a First-Team NJCAA All-American for the 2002 season, in addition to being named MVP of the 2002 NJCAA National Tournament … Two-time NJCAA All-American and was All-Tournament at the national tournament two years … Attended high school in Miami, Fla.
