JUNIOR SEASON (2020-21)
Arrived in January in late December 2019 to LSU and played his first game for the Tigers on Dec. 14, 2020 against Sam Houston … Played 14 minutes and scored five points with eight rebounds … Played in 25 games with one start, averaging 3.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and 16.8 minutes a game … Shot 36-of-54 from the field (66.7%) with 18 blocks and 25 steals … Averaged one steal a game … Had one double figure game as part of his first LSU double double with 12 points and 10 rebounds against Auburn (2/20) … Played 22 minutes and hit all six field goal attempts with two blocks … Also had 10 rebounds against Arkansas (2/27) and eight against the Razorbacks in the SEC Tournament semifinal (3/13) … Had three points and five rebounds against St. Bonaventure in 13 minutes and two points and three rebounds against Michigan (3/22) in 19 minutes in NCAA play … Had five steals vs. Georgia (1/6) and 4 at Missouri (3/6) … Overall including his Georgetown games, he has played in 64 career games with 23 starts … His college averages for both schools combined are 6.6 points and 5.8 rebounds with 62 blocks and 59 steals.
PRIOR TO LSU
Played 39 games at Georgetown in a season and a half with 22 starts, averaging 8.8 points and 6.6 rebounds a game … Started 22 of 33 games in 2018-19 and was named to the BIG EAST All-Freshman team after averaging 7.1 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game … Scored a career high 22 points against Howard (12/29/18) and posted 13 double figure scoring games … Had 17 rebounds against Seton Hall (3/2/19) … Had six double doubles … Played in six games in 2019-20 for the Hoyas, averaging 19.2 minutes per game, 7.2 points and 2.7 rebounds … Four-star recruit in the class of 2018 out of Madison Prep in Baton Rouge … Helped lead Madison Prep to a Class 3A state title in 2018, being named MOP in the title game after scoring 19 points with 12 boards … 2017 All-District Co-MVP, all-district and all-state first team … District Co-MVP, first team all-state following the 2016 season and was the 2A championship game MVP … High School coach was Jeff Jones.
