FRESHMAN SEASON (2015)
Began the season at the No. 5 spot with Riley Young and combined for a 3-2 record … Also saw action at the No. 4 position versus Jacksonville before she solidified her role on court three with Helen Boyle during the UNF Sand Invitational … Won 10 of her first 11 matches with Boyle after her jump to the No. 3 spot … Totaled five victories against Top 20 opponents … Finished the season with a 14-3 mark with Boyle and totaled a 17-8 record on the year … Partnered with Carly Morris during the Fiesta at Siesta Key Tournament….Named to SEC First Year Academic Honor Roll.
INDOOR SEASON (2014) | Full Bio
Played in 18 matches in her first season in Purple and Gold, making three starts with 56 total sets played… Earned 63 digs on the season, averaging 1.12 digs per set, while serving up 10 assists and three service aces… Had five matches on the year with at least five digs… Saw her first action as a Tiger, playing in two sets in the opener against San Diego… Played in three sets against South Florida with two digs… Earned her first service ace against Purdue with three digs… Earned five digs against Samford in her first start… Earned five digs against Florida State… Had eight digs, an assist and service ace a win over Baylor… Had four digs against Alabama… Earned double figure digs for the first time with 10 against Arkansas and two assists… Played in all five sets in the win at Kentucky, with four digs and an assist… Had two digs in the win over Tennessee… Earned five digs with two assists and a service ace against Mississippi State… Earned three digs in the win at South Carolina.
HIGH SCHOOL
Played four years and earned three letters under head coach Logan Barber at Cardinal Gibbons High School in North Carolina as a setter and right side hitter… Was a member of four straight conference, regional and state championship teams during her career… Was a junior captain for the team’s third championship run, finishing 21-2 on the season and being named to the Big Eight All-Conference team… Finished her tenure with a perfect 27-0 record and seventh-ranked national finish by MaxPreps, winning 84 of a possible 87 sets during the year en route to being named the Class 3A MVP of the state championship game, Big Eight All-Conference team, the 2014 Crusader Award and all-metro team… Had 345 assists, 147 kills and 127 digs as a senior captain… Was a member of the National Honor Society, Media Club, Newspaper Club and Lancer Club.
