Emily Dixon enters her sixth season as the Coordinator of Offensive Operations for the LSU Football Team. Dixon works closely with the team’s offensive coordinator and all offensive position coaches regarding game day preparation, travel and a variety of daily tasks. She also works in the recruiting department for unofficial and official visits, special events and game days.

Dixon is also a reporter for LSUsports.net where she conducts weekly interviews with Head Coach Ed Orgeron, current student-athletes and former Tigers in the NFL, such as Patrick Peterson, Tyrann Mathieu, Odell Beckham, Jr., Jarvis Landry and more. She created and writes a blog each spring and fall during football camps, which introduces fans to the team through video interviews with players, coaches and staff, along with written articles and practice updates.

Prior to working at LSU, Dixon worked for Scout.com covering LSU athletics, including the Tigers’ 13-0 football season in 2011. She also covered the 2012 BCS National Championship for FOXsports.com, the 2012 Final Four in New Orleans and multiple other sporting events in the Southeast.

Before working for FOX, Dixon served as a sports anchor and reporter at KNOE-TV in Monroe, La., where she would shoot, edit, produce and anchor weekly sportscasts.
