ARE THERE CAMP DISCOUNTS?

WHAT IS THE WEATHER PROTOCOL?

We do not offer refunds for sessions missed due to weather. We will make every effort to get every session played. We will use our indoor facilities (if available) or may move the sessions to a different time of the day if the weather dictates. If we need to cancel a camp for matters out of our control, we will try to move the camp to another week or offer a refund of the camp price minus administrative charges.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN "ELITE ID CAMP", "ADVANCED CAMP" AND "YOUTH CAMP"?

Our camps are open to anyone and everyone, only limited by number, age/grade level, and gender. Both males and females can attend our Advanced and Youth Camps. Advanced camps provide the option of staying overnight in our dormitories and experiencing our on-campus dining facilities. Youth camps can be full-day or half-day and all events take place at the LSU Soccer Complex, including lunch. The Elite ID Camp is recommended for females who are interested in pursuing soccer at an elite level, beyond recreational.

CAN I REQUEST A ROOMMATE FOR MY CAMPER AT THE 4-DAY ADVANCED CAMP?

Yes. This question will be asked during registration. Feel free to list up to three names. This makes it easier to make roommate selections during the assignment process.

LSU Soccer can not guarantee rooming assignments but works to satisfy all requests.

HOW ARE CAMPERS DIVIDED FOR TRAINING AND COMPETITION?

Campers will be divided based on: Age, playing ability, gender, size, numbers. Team and pairing requests will be honored to the best of their ability.

WHAT IF MY CAMPER HAS NOT PLAYED SOCCER BEFORE?

We recommend Tiger Soccer Academy and our Youth Camp for rookie or novice players, however all camps are open to any and all entrants and are limited only by number, age, grade eve, and/or gender.

WILL THERE BE HIGH-LEVEL PLAYERS AT CAMP?

Yes. We will organize groups using the aforementioned criteria, and make sure that all campers are receiving a valuable experience while being challenge by playing with and against campers of a similar level.

HOW MUCH SPENDING MONEY SHOULD MY CAMPER BRING?

Overnight camp – $25-$50 should be enough for the camp store.

ID camp – Enough for souvenirs in the campus bookstore (when open).

ARE PARENTS WELCOME AT CAMP SESSIONS?

Yes, parents are welcome. We ask that parents keep a considerate distance during field sessions to allow for campers to have an independent camp experience.

CAN A CAMPER LEAVE CAMP TO PARTICIPATE IN ANOTHER EVENT?

Yes, but only with direct communication with LSU Soccer Camp personnel. This should be requested in writing prior to camp.

CAN A CAMPER LEAVE THE RESIDENCE HALL OR TRAINING FACILITY DURING CAMP?

We prefer that you use time before or after camp to explore Baton Rouge in greater detail. No youth or advanced campers will be allowed to leave without a parent/guardian present.

WHEN SHOULD I EXPECT CAMP UPDATES?

We typically send our pre-camp information two weeks before the camps check-in date, We have found that some email providers block our emails reaching you due to spam. If you do not receive a registration email, or do not receive a camp email two weeks before camp, please reach out to lsusoccercamps@lsu.edu to let us know.
