SENIOR SEASON (2022-23)
In a dual meet with South Carolina, won the 50-free with a time of 19.45 and the 100-free with a time of 43.25 – earned SEC swimmer of the week for his performance … For a tri-team meet with Denver and Air Force, claimed first in the 100-free with a time of 43.36 and second in the 200-free with a time of 1:37.17 … In a dual meet with Auburn, finished first in the 200-free (1:36.96), second in the 50-free (19.89) and first in the 100-free (43.47) … For the second consecutive SEC dual meet against Alabama, he placed first in the 200-free (1:35.41), first in the 50-free (19.60), and first in the 100-free (43.56) … At the Art Adamson Invite, placed first in the 50-free (18.94), fourth in the 200-free (1:33.56) and first in the 100-free (41.86) … During the senior meet vs. FSU, he finished in first in the 50-free (19.57) and first in the 100-free (43.61) … In the regular season finale against Texas A&M, he placed first in the 50-free (19.54) and first in the 100-free (43.43) … At 2023 SEC’s, placed sixth in the 50-free (18.99), fifth in the 200-free (1:33.15) and fifth in the 100-free (41.88) … At NCAA’s placed fourth in the 50-free (18.76), fourth in the 200-free (1:31.30; school record) and fifth in the 100-free (41.03) … Earned three first-team All-American honors.

JUNIOR SEASON (2021-22)
Opened up the season breaking the LSU Natatorium pool record against Grand Canyon in the 50-free with a time of 19.51; also competed in the 100-yard freestyle finishing first with a time of 44.27 and won the 200-yard medley relay and the 400-yard freestyle relay with the fastest splits and final times… At the Rocky Mountain Invitational, he won the 50-yard free and the 100-yard free with times of 19.59 and 43.91… Against Alabama, picked up three individual wins in the 200-yard free, 100-yard free and 50-yard free; had a time of 1:34.27 in the 200-free, which was the second-fastest time in the country for the event; finished with a time of 19.95 in the 50-free and 43.98 in the 100-free… At the Art Adamson Invitational, won the 50-free with a time of 19.09, which at the time of the event was the fastest time in the country; placed first in the 100-free with a time of 42.30 and swam the fourth-fastest 100-free time in the country as the first leg of the 400-free relay with a 42.10… Against Texas A&M, claimed two first-place finishes in the 50- and 100-free with respective times of 19.42 and 43.76; he rebroke his 50-free pool record that he set during the season opener… At the 2022 SEC Championships, broke three school records and one SEC meet record; became the 8th person in the sport’s history to clock a time below 41 in the 100-free; claimed silver in the 50-free with a time of 18.67, silver in the 200-free with a time of 1:31.39, and gold in the 100-free with a time of 40.99… Was a part of the school record-breaking relay team in the 400-free relay, consisting of Curry, Emil Hassling, Jack Jannasch and Spencer Adrian, clocking a time of 2:52.07; On a team with Griffin Curtis, Mitch Mason, and Hassling, the 200-yard medley relay time fell after clocking a 1:24.79… Single-handedly doubled LSU’s swimming national titles with a win in the 50-free and 100-free at the 2022 NCAA Championships … One of only two swimmers to win two national titles in this year’s rendition of the championships … Broke all three records he held in the freestyle events multiple times during the 2021-22 season … Earned All-American status in all three events that he swam in at nationals: 50-free, 100-free, 200-free

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2020-21)
Won two events in the opening meet of the season against Alabama… Won the 100-Yard Freestyle with a time of 43.19, the 200-Yard Freestyle with a time of 1:35.86, and came in second in the 50-Yard Freestyle with a time of 20.07… At the Art Adamson Invitational, broke his own school record in the 50-Yard Freestyle, 19.28, to claim the victory… At the same meet, won the 100-Yard Freestyle with a time of 42.06, and came in third place in the 200-Yard Freestyle with a time of 1:33.75… Against Florida State University he won the 200-Yard Freestyle with a time of 1:37.75 and finished second in the 100-Yard Freestyle with a time of 44.00… Against Texas A&M he won both the 100-Yard Freestyle and 200-Yard Freestyle with times of 42.29 and 1:36.71… At the 2021 SEC Championships, he earned the silver medal in the 100-Yard Freestyle with a time of 41.80, breaking his own school record… He also earned two bronze medals in the 50 and the 200-Yard Freestyle with times of 19.16 and 1:32.64… His 50-Yard Freestyle prelim time of 18.97 broke his own school record he set earlier in the season… Qualified for the NCAA Championships in all three freestyle events… At the 2021 NCAA Championships, became the first Tiger to earn All-American status in three different events at one NCAA Championship… Named All-American in the 100-Yard Freestyle after finishing in seventh place with a time of 41.99… His 100-Yard Freestyle prelim time of 41.77 broke his own school record he set at the 2021 SEC Championships… Also became an All-American in the 200-Yard Freestyle as he finished in sixth place with a time of 1:33.12… Named an Honorable Mention All-American in the 50-Yard Freestyle as he finished in 10th place with a time of 19.08… Qualified for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics during Wave II of the Olympic Swimming Trials… Competed in the 100-meter freestyle and placed fourth with a time of 48.19, which earned him a spot on the 4×100 relay team… At the Olympics, he served as the lead leg for the prelims on July 25 and swam a 48.84, with an impressive split time of 23.51 in the first 50 meters… Did not swim in the final, but due to his participation in the prelim, he earned the first Olympic gold medal for the LSU swimming program

FRESHMAN SEASON (2019-20)
Claimed the silver in the first meet of his career in the 100-Yard Freestyle at the TYR Classic with a time of 44.52… Against Auburn, came in second place in the 200-Yard Free with a time of 1:38.29, and third place in the 50 and 100-Yard Free with times of 20.51 and 44.94… Won both the 100 and 200-Yard Free at the SMU Invitational with times of 43.38 and 1:36.08 – which sit as the sixth and fourth-best times in school history… At the same meet, swam a 20.03 in the 50-Yard Free to finish in second place… Was named SEC Male Freshman of the Week for his performances against Missouri and Delta State… Against Missouri, won both the 100 and 200-Yard Free with times of 43.96 and 1:36.93… Won the 100-Yard Back with a 48.66 against Delta State… Won SEC Freshman of the Week after coming in first in the 200-Yard Free against Florida State with a time of 1:36.70, second in the 100-Yard Free with a 44.56, and fourth in the 50-Yard Free with a 20.45…In a dual meet against Texas A&M, he finished second in the 200-Yard Free with a time of 1:37.31, second in the 50-Yard Free with a 20.24, and third in the 100-Yard Free with a 45.29… At the 2020 SEC Championships, broke school records in the 50, 100, and 200-Yard Freestyle… Became LSU’s first gold medal winner since 2004 after winning the 100-Yard Free with a time of 41.81… Earned the silver in the 200-Yard Free with a time of 1:32.43 and finished sixth in the 50-Yard Free with a time of 19.39. Finished the season as the fastest freshman in the country in all three freestyle events… His performance at the SEC Championships qualified him for the NCAA Championships in all three freestyle events… Finished the year with school records in all three freestyle events as well as three relay events…Was named SEC Freshman of the Year for his performance throughout the season… Was named to the All-SEC First Team as well as the All-SEC Freshman Team.
