SOPHOMORE SEASON (2021-22)
Played in all 11 events, 33 rounds, averaging 71.85 for the season. Fourth on the team in scoring average … Recorded his first collegiate win in the San Diego Classic (3/7-8), finishing first in a field of 95 … Shot 13-under par 203 (65-68-70) … Lowest career single round … Three top 10 finishes … 18 rounds of par our under, 30 for his two seasons … Was T9 at the Turning Stone Intercollegiate (9/5-6) with 2-under 214 and T9 at Mossy Oak Collegiate (4/11-12) with 3-under 213 … Career scoring average of 72.25, lowering his season average almost one stroke from his freshman season.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2020-21)
Wrapped up his debut year for LSU with a scoring average of 72.74 in 27 rounds played … 25 of his 27 rounds counted towards LSU’s team scores … best finish of the season came at the Tiger Invitational (T13th) with a 4-under 212 … low round of the season was a 3-under 69 at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional … made 79 birdies on the season … most birdies in a round was five, which happened six times on the season … played at nine of LSU’s 10 tournaments on the season … registered top-30 finishes at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational (T26th), SEC Championship (T28th), and NCAA Tallahassee Regional (T23rd).
PRIOR TO LSU
Arcement is a from Thibodaux. He won the 2017 LHSAA DII individual title with a two-round tally of 5-under 139 to finish three strokes clear of the field at ‘The Wetlands’ in Lafayette, La. He’s won the Louisiana Junior Amateur title twice with the first win coming in 2017 (Tchefuncta Country Club/Covington, La.) and the most recent in 2019 (Bayou Oaks at City Park/New Orleans). Arcement, a righty, checks in currently at No. 15 in the Golfweek 2020 Boys Junior Rankings and No. 53 in the AJGA rankings. He’s picked up two wins on the AJGA circuit dating back to 2017. He captured the title at the 2017 AJGA Junior at Gray Plantation with a three-round score of 8-under 208 to finish four shots clear of the field. His most recent AJGA win came this year at the Dominican Junior Open (4-under 212/68-74-70) in May. He also placed in a tie for seventh at the 2019 Junior Players Championship in September at TPC Sawgrass. At the 2019 Louisiana Amateur, Arcement finished in solo third at 2-under 286 at the Baton Rouge Country Club.
