BATON ROUGE -- LSU Athletics, in partnership with the Baton Rouge Area Foundation, the Greater Baton Rouge Economic Partnership and Visit Baton Rouge, announced that the wildly popular Savannah Bananas are returning to Baton Rouge to bring their world-renowned show to Alex Box Stadium and Tiger Stadium this spring.
As part of the Death Valley Live Stadium Series, “Banana Ball” will return to LSU Baseball's Alex Box Stadium on March 4, 2027, before making their first appearance in LSU Football’s iconic Tiger Stadium on March 6, 2027.
“We can’t wait for the electrifying energy of Banana Ball to come to life inside two of our iconic athletic venues,” said Clay Harris, Deputy Athletics Director and Chief Revenue Officer. “What the Savannah Bananas have built over the last decade has been truly remarkable and we look forward to showcasing their one-of-a-kind experience at The Box and inside Death Valley this spring.”
Since their inaugural season in 2016, the Bananas have consistently sold out some of America’s most iconic sporting venues – from NFL and MLB stadiums across the country to their home crowd at Grayson Stadium. Their return to The Box and debut in Death Valley is expected to be no different.
