This is the 38th year of the Dick Howser Trophy, and the 2025 finalists will be announced on Thursday, June 7. The winner will be unveiled on MLB Network in a special national presentation on Friday, June 13, in Omaha, Neb., before the first game of the 78th NCAA College World Series.
Academic achievement continues to be a cornerstone of the LSU baseball program, as 127 student-athletes have earned degrees over the past 18 years. In addition, LSU baseball players have received SEC Academic Honor Roll recognition on 183 occasions since 2007.
LSU and South Carolina resume the series at 6 p.m. CT Friday in a game that will be broadcast on the LSU Sports Radio Network and streamed on SEC Network +.
