LSU’s fall baseball intra-squad scrimmages throughout October and November are open to the public in Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field. The Tigers will scrimmage this week at 4 p.m. CT Thursday, 4 p.m. CT Friday and 1 p.m. CT Sunday.
Brezovsky worked at LSU during head coach Paul Mainieri’s tenure, and he helped lead the Tigers to the 2009 College World Series National Championship, the 2009 and 2012 SEC Championships, a 2013 CWS appearance and three SEC Tournament titles.
The former Tigers who are on active MLB playoff rosters are third baseman Alex Bregman of the Astros and right-handed pitcher Aaron Nola of the Phillies, while infielder DJ LeMahieu of the Yankees and catcher Hunter Feduccia of the Dodgers are on their teams’ 40-man rosters and could be activated during the postseason.
